I was always under the impression that these sort of threads were frowned upon because they're thinly veiled source requests, more often than not.

Actually I'm only asking because I've wanted to ask a similar question so I can meet fellow weed enthusiasts in my area too. However I thought it wasn't allowed? I seem to remember someone asking this got their thread closed ages ago. Or maybe I'm remembering it wrong.
I met one bluelighter once and IV'd heroin and crack with him!!
I believe it's frowned upon everywhere but the roll call threads.
That's not to say it's across-the-board banned, but I know a lot of these kinds of threads get closed fairly quickly.
But hey, a zen-style Buddhist tea party? There's nothing sketchy about that.
Besides, there is no EU roll call area from what Delta says (I've never actually looked for them) so I say let the thread live.
