Any ways to reduce shaking with 2C-I?

I'm fairly new to 2c-i. I have tried it 4 times all in different doses(14,21,8, and 12 in order). I really enjoy the experience at all of those levels, except for one issue, the shaking.

I realize the 2c-i has strong stimulant properties, but I hate trying to shake hands with someone and my hand shakes violently like a tweaker. It also seems to come and go from my experience.

Are there any solutions to reduce the shaking? Any recommendations? I've found several people with the same problem, but no solutions. If it is something that comes with the territory, then so be it, but I would love to eliminate that quality 2c-i carries with it.

Unfortunately I'm not able to smoke due to drug testing reasons. I know magnesium helps to work with jaw clenching as it is a mild muscle relaxer, but would that have a similar effect in this case?

EDIT-Speaking in regards to Magnesium and MDMA use.

I get fairly intense shakes, chills and tremors and the like on pretty much all 2Cs but mostly during the come-up stage. I don't find benzos are that useful as even if they do help they tend to mess with the trip too much - perhaps a very low dose is worth trying but there are probably better means. Opiates are more useful to me - I find codeine or DHC can help quite a bit and also adds a pleasing fuzzywuzzy blanket to the bodyfeel which actually goes great. Obviously opiates have their drawbacks too...

Magnesium is probably the best advice - I find it helps a lot and can all but eliminate the 2C-shivers usually. I don't always bother as they usually resolve themselves once I reach the plateau stage (although the comedown is also often a shimmyfest) but magnesium probably works best and has the least interference with the trip itself for me. Just don't take too much cos it gives you the shits which is probably even worse than being shivery. Especially in public :D

Someone in the big and dandy thread suggested Valerian herb... said it eases the over-stimmyness without messing with the trip... I can believe that. Perhaps Hops herb or extract would also be useful. I know valerian can indeed be a pretty potent relaxant on its on so this idea makes sense.

I could see that working for some. I have to take a metric fucktonne of valerian for it to have any effect at all but have a small benzo tolerance as I've been scripted diazepam and temazepam for 20-odd years now. I don't take them daily or even all that often now but pretty much have to swig valerian tincture by the bottle to feel relaxed. If you have no tolerance it would definitely be better than benzos though.

I find herbal teas can help a bit too. Maybe just the placebo of having a warm, comforting drink but it can't hurt. Not much use if you're out and about though. Any of the more relaxing herb/fruit teas can help. And if not they do taste great when tripping anyway :)

There's also Chamomile, which can be a pretty effective mild herbal relaxer...

Celestial Seasonings "Seepytime" tea, spiked with 25mg 2C-I.

Haha... what a cocktail that might be!

Wow... I am susceptible to trembling usually, even without drugs. I don't get it from the 2C's, though!
