Any way to test MDMA without a test kit?

I have someone comming over later who says he has molly that is pure mdma. It perked my interest but I know most molly going around is not really pure. I don't have time to get a test kit before I meet up with him. Is there anyway to do a quick test with common household items? I havn't had MDMA is almost 10 years but have been having an urge to do it again hoping since it has been so long it might feel like the first times again.
 
even a marquis test can't tell you if it's pure mate.

odds are it isn't pure and he doesn't know shit though (no offence).

Actually your probably right and that is why I am skeptical. He is the kind of guy that will hustle anything he can get his hands on.

I do live in the U.S. I am looking at images of MDMA right now. Your right, I don't think its something I can eyeball and be sure.

I will probably just buy a small amount and hold on to it until I can get hold of a test kit.
 
No... and even a testing kit can't tell you if it's pure, it can only tell you if there is MDMA in it or not. It cant tell you what else is in it. It's pretty unlikely that it's pure, nothings ever pure lol. You're only 'test' you can do is to do a small line, see how you feel, then decide whether or not to take more. Be weary of PMMA, especially if you live in Canada.
 
buy it and tell friend your going to wait to test it before taking. If after testing it is bunk see if he will take it back, if not then you know not to trust him in the future.
 
general rule of thumb is to never buy off someone who you know has sold you bunk stuff before, as a matter of principle.

The American market isn't as bad as it's made out to be. It's better in some areas, but in other areas the market's dead. Anyways there's really no way to tell unless you test it. Even testing it won't tell you how pure it is, just that there's some MDxx in there.
 
Just to follow up. I didn't end up buying any of his molly. It looked a little suspicous as the powder had a brownish/yellowish tint to it. The deal was sealed when he said he had not tried it himself.

nothing wrong with brown/yellow MDMA, but it's a powder and i still just wouldn't buy a powder.

you know the part about how every dealer's shit is always pure,lol...

anyway in all seriousness i believe you can test relative purity by A) testing melting point B) doing an acetone wash/filtering or C) testing the sample in a GC/MS... but forget all that... if its powder molly then its almost always stepped on to some degree...
 
Most of these folks are right. Really the only way to know for sure if your E is pure is to personally know the chemist who cooked it.

I stopped doing Pills because of the surge of Pipes in the Market.

A simple test to do is to lick the pill. If it is sweet and sour it is a pipe If it is bitter it could Be Pure. But this is never I repeat never a sure bet. Buy a test kit. It will usually give you a close enough answer to your question. I quit doing E pills after the Original G's up hoes down were gone. After that shit went down hill. Now a days I would rather do BK MDMA Get it from a good source not a street dealer and you will love it.
 
Why does the ecstasy scene have to be so shitty these days? It seems like even once you find a pill or molly that tests good, it usually always tests for meth too, or has some other wierd RC that the test kits dont even test for so you end up awake all night off a pill you thought would be clean. Test kits are a life saver and one of the most helpful tools available in terms of harm reduction, but with all of the RCs and the fact that majority of people (pressers, dealers, even chemists) dont care about the quality of their product, just the income from it, I have to question whether ecstasy will ever be the same again? I miss the good old days :(
 
Slightly off white in colour kind of light crystaline brown. It can be white but I would avoid the white stuff as its much easier to cut. Any novel colours I would just avoid period.

Avoid powder it is usually cut. Insist on crystal product. You can recrystalise with adulterated product but your average bozo dope dealer wont know how to do this.

Smell can help if the MDMA started its life as Safrol it will often have an aniseed/liquorice smell. Some good pills will also have this smell sometimes as well. Safrol is a common primary precursor.

Melting point is good way to test but you need a little bit of chemistry knowledge for this and is not practical in most cases.

Test kits help but I have heard a few cases particularly in the USA where people are making pills with tiny mdma in them to fool the test kit but then have a coctail of research chemicals as well. Nice!!

Come up time is an indication also If you come up quickly it always indicated some kind of speed adulterant. Pure MDMA usually takes approx 1 hour to come up.

I dont think taste is a good indicator of anything.

Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry is a good suggestion from last club kid wow if only everyone had one of these in their back pocket the MDMA world would be a happier place LOL.

I dont know of how to make a test kit with simple house hold items but its certainly food for thought.. Good idea if you could pull it off.

I would not recommend lining the MDMA as a test. Its a really bad way to take MDMA anytime. A lot of the advice on here is intended to help people and prevent them from harm. This is definitely not recommended.

Trust in the person is your best weapon!!

The safest way would be to send it for testing to ecstasydata.org but it is quite expensive for a test..
 
I absolutely do not recommend taking any miscellanous substance, but after bombing MDMA the come up is absolutely unmistakable !
