Altered Perception
Bluelighter
I initially signed up to Bluelight under the user name Unlucky following an unlucky incidence involving a recreational drug overdose which left me disabled with a rare neurological condition and a damaged Autonomic Nervous System. My head was full of questions at the time and I wanted to know if there were any other people like me out there and talk to experienced people about possible treatments and discuss how the drugs involved could in theory have caused the specific damage I suffered. I got some great responses and suggestions for certain medications to improve some of the symptoms of my illness.
I grew fond of the Bluelight community and stayed longer then I had anticipated however I disliked my pessimistic user name "Unlucky" as it was created specifically for the purpose of seeking help for my illness "Autonomic Dysfunction". Based on the rule that we can only have one active account I changed the password of that old account to something random and began to use this account. I however did not anticipate that someday someone who happen to come across my story may try to contact me with answers or even have the same rare illness also triggered by an overdose. I could see in my email account associated with that username that someone had sent me an email but I could not access the inbox message. It has been eating away at me thinking what if this person had some information that could be life changing for me. So I just wanted to find out if it was possible to read that message? If I am not allowed to access it myself I don't mind if an Administrator takes a look at the message first and if they feel that it does in fact contain valuable information relevant to my condition then perhaps they could pass the message onto me?
I apologize for the length of this query but I thought I needed to explain the reason behind it. Thank you for any help.
