My girl has work at 5 today. We both popped some trams last night( silly idea but we wanted to do it earlier but due to the opana guy falling though just went with the trams) around 8:30is.

I figured it would be fun to wake her up with a nice sexing, we had fun and all was good till I suddenly had the urge to pee( I had tried going a couple times last night but as you may know its hard to pee on trams so I just gave up) I held things to what I thought was her climaxing, unfortunately she was in the MIDDLE of climaxing and I just kind of pulled out and left for the bathroom. I still feel bad about leaving her when she needed me most:( but alas I tried, 3 more secs would have perfect and I certainly could of held it in for that long.

Everything I just wrote is basically a giant digressition. The point is that afterwards she gets hit by the awful tramadol hangover. I've had these before after doing a healty( or unhealthy if you want to look like a rational person) dose of the stuff. You basically sit and throw up all day without anykind of relief. The best thing you can do is sit and stay in the bed but the problem is she has to go to work and her job requires constant moving around. Also she desperatly needs the money and can't afford to call out.

If there is anyone out there who knows a way to make a tram hangover bearable please share! I know peptp bismol usually fails hardcore trying to defeat the hangover. I know ginger root works for some stuff( its helped me take e pills without any nausea) but has anyone had it work for trams? Or how about dramamine?

Sounds more like WD to me, although it's hard to know without knowing what her typical usage pattern is like.

An antihistamine like promethazine would probably be the most effective if you could get it. Otherwise, Dramamine would be fine to try. Also OTC

I'm going to move this to Basic Drug Discussion, I think you'll get better responses there.

All i can say is that I dont understand how people can take tramadol - i felt like I was going to die on it and was sketched out on it for 2 days after.

It did nothing.

I don't know what causes this, but I have heard accounts from a lot of people who have experienced awful headaches the day after ingesting a large amount of tramadol. The few times I experienced this, I found what made it cease for me was to take more tramadol. Obviously this is not a suggestion or advice as this could make it worse for other people, however that is what worked for me. I'd say maybe just try paracetamol or other headache remedies and see how it goes. Well actually I guess this thread took place yesterday, but I hope everything worked out alright.

take another tramadol in the morning it doesn't have to be 800mg. opiates help because they access the same receptor. Tylenol 3 have definitely helped me through a hang over.

I have taken 600mg Tramadol every day for 2 years without a seizure. a rebound headache is all I have experienced on Tramadol.

yea i take around 9 tramadols every morning and when i run out i get bad withdrawls almost like dope. i get around 120 a month but i hav 2 take so many for it to work 4 pain barely

I think it's clear Tramadol is not a very good pain killer. I experience restless leg syndrome and depression when I withdrawal. the depression is because Tramadol has NRI properties.

It's more of a mix of serotonin shortages, and opiate withdrawls. Try to take just a couple to ward off the nasties. Tramadol gets a lot of flak because it isn't 'hardcore'.

Tramadol pain relief

Please keep in mind my pain was getting unbearable and the doc gave me this.... no help with pain.

Stay SAFGE.

I was given it for migraines back in mid-late October. I ended up having surgery on my hand, less than a month later.
Tramadol (37.5mg), for the first 5 doses actually fixed the migraine (initial dose, 100MG, helped with general aches, but, the hangover was... nasty for a day), but, left me feeling hung over for a good 8 hours after the initial 4-5 of it working. After the first few doses, it lost it's effectiveness. It also didn't do squat for my hand, after surgery, tho. Had oxycodon (5mg). USED to have those for dental (2x10mg), with no problem. Currently, the oxycodon doesn't touch the migraines, but, worked for the hand (and left me VERY nauseous about 20-30 minutes after taking them).
Either way, I do find drinking water helps (a bit) with the hangovers (oxy leaves me dehydrated, so, 1/2 liter water usually fixes that). tramadol... water = gravol helps, a bit, if it can be kept down.

Anyone have ideas for a non-narcotic help for migraines (Been having one since July.... 8 months, running, with only about 8 days off, from meds)..> MRI shows NOTHING...
Oh, and, the doctor said the "hangover" must be from something else. I just don't know what.
