Any way to enhance metabolization of amphetamines?

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if it's possible to hasten the metabolization of amphetamines (any of them) via enzymatic induction or some other process. I reckon if this were possible we'd hear about it more, and the highly relevant CYP2D6 is non-inducible, but perhaps there are other routes and options. Besides aborting with benzos. Just wondering. Don't mean to start a new thread about it but searching on here feels like reinventing the wheel. thanks team
 
I've heard l-tyrosine can help potentiate lisdexamphetamine (Vyvanse).
Adding baking soda to dextroamphetamine like Adderall or Dexedrine also makes the absorption rate faster. (feels a bit uncomfortable too)
 
I've come to understand that using antacids to lower the stomach pH to a slightly more basic side causes a slow release / metabolism of amphetamines, so based on that - could you not do the opposite and make your stomach more acidic?

Just deductive reasoning, I haven't seen anything to confirm or deny (or question) this.

It can be induced, just with drugs that aren't readily available. Dexamethasone is probably the most common that I've heard cited.

So you want to get them out of your body quicker? When you've had enough fun on them and want to hasten the end? Doesn't really seem like it will be a practical thing to do, better off using sedatives.

Amphetamine has a pKa of around 10, it will be better absorbed in a more basic environment. Using antacids when taking amphetamine orally will hasten and improve it's absorption (non-ionized compounds cross the cell membranes better then ions). I use this method to improve absorption of opioids and MDMA, works well.

Gabapentin seems to do the trick for me. It's a dopamine reuptake inhibitor AFAIK. Meaning whilst the speed boosts the dopamine in your system, the gabapentin also recyclesthat dopamine boosting the high.

In any case case it definitely seems to compliment amphetamine in that it lessens paranoia.

^ Gabapentin is not a dopamine reuptake inhibitor (cocaine and methylphenidate are examples of DRIs).

The exact mechanism of gabapentin is unknown but it may have to do with synapse formation and also calcium channels via which nerve impulses are transmitted.

This. I made baking soda water, and although it was nasty, you get WAY more bang for your buck when you basify your tummy.
 
Flavored antacids are a tastier way to achieve the same thing. :)
