hi guys, anyone knows any tips to avoid the physical crash of the next 2 days after a roll??? I kind of get pretty fucked up for about 2-3 days, and is not only mentally, but I have no strengh or whatsoever... may be is because of the lack of sleep (normaly, when I go on a roll, I go till all night till noon or even afternoon) or no eating at all (cant eat sht till the next day)... I usually drink milk like a mofo though... Was thinking in getting some protein shakes, may be that would help...

Pre loading with 5htp can help, so can multivitamins etc

Best advice is try to have some sleep / something to eat as soon as possible after the roll as this really helps.

What does it for me is eating the fattiest food you can chow down after your event or whenever you get home. Its been a tradition for years for me that I buy one of those hot dogs wrapped in bacon off of those ghetto carts after every event and pile on the grilled onions, cut bell papers, a jalapeno, some mustard and ketchup some other shit too i forgot what but yeah that doesnt for me for my crash the rest is all mental the next time I wake up haha. But I think its because you havent eaten for 6+ or 8+ hours sometimes and your body is lacking the nutrients it needs to keep going so its using all its mite to keep you going and thats why you feel drained sometimes. Just my theory, im no doctor or anything.

Pre/post-load with 5-HTP
Drink Emergen-C before and when coming down... its good during the roll too.
1000 IU Vitamin D when coming down.

Make sure you get 5-HTP that has B6 in it - as this is needed to assimilate it into serotonin.

If you can stomach it, a big greasy meal will definitely make you feel better.

sht is I cant eat anything... there is no way I can get a greasy meal through my throat...

Thanks for the tips guys, I will stack up some 5-htp, vitamin d and b6 right away... also, protein shakes and carbo shakes, guess that will have to do.. the mental crash does screw with me, suicidal mondays and overal tuesdays defenitely are there (though not that bad since I've started rolling 1 time a month), but I can get to solve that going to my bjj training on tuesdays, after that, im fine... problem is, I really have no freaking energy to roll (i mean bjj roll, not mdma roll) even for 2 minutes...

There is an AWESOME protein shake you can get... its called whey-tein - its by the same people that make spirutein but with whey instead of soy. Its AMAZING and its one of the only shakes that comes with a LAB CERTIFICATION of what they claim on the label versus what is actually in the batch.

Tastes pretty damn good too.

Another thing - everyone should take these every day - spirulina and chlorella. Here's a great book on them http://www.chlorellafactor.com - its totally free online book, very thorough, and the author is well-respected in the alternative health community.

I think postloading with 5-HTP and Vitamin B6 helps a lot more than preloading, but thats just my opinion

I'll look it up on the net... thanx bro..

Pre-loading stops 3-5 hours before the drop... But I usually preload up til I drop and take it while I'm rolling and coming down and it keeps me rolling all night so...

the mental crash does screw with me, suicidal mondays and overal tuesdays defenitely are there (though not that bad since I've started rolling 1 time a month).

The main reason for your problems is that you were rolling too often for a while.

Take it down another notch, reduce your dosages and give yourself 5-6 weeks in between, and you'll start seeing even more improvement.

I've found the best thing is finding clean pills/molly. It's usually the amp or other stuff in a pill that makes me so out of it for so long. This last roll I had was with super clean pills and the next morning I felt completely normal and was even able to eat a big delicious meal.

And if you're worried about apathy and appetite I'd actually advise to stay away from the 5-htp. It's great to replenish your seratonin levels, but 5-htp on it's own will curb your appetite (it's regular, non-roller use is usually weight loss) and at least for me makes me rather lazy. I used to stand by 5-htp all the way, but now don't take it unless Tuesday rolls around and I've got a shitty attitude.

Other than that, give yourself time to rest and try to get as much food in you as you can. I've found that even a nice big Jamba Juice is pretty easy to eat after rolling and it's got a lot of the nutrients that need replenishing after a long night.

I started pre-loading with Piracetam for about 3-4 days before my rolls because I heard it was supposed to enhance the roll...and I've found that Piracetam has completely stopped the shitty feeling after rolling.

I used to feel like crap after rolling. I'd feel just generally down and out of it. I'd have no appetite and I wouldn't want to anything at all. When I started using Piracetam, I noticed I'd have an awesome afterglow feeling the following days and I'd just be happy and feeling good. I never really get the bad feeling after anymore. It's made a huge difference for me.

I'd get into an exercise regimen as well. The first few times I rolled I was kinda out of shape physically, so going out and partying took a bigger physical toll than it does now that I work out daily. Also great for recovery.
