Any serious medical cannabis patients?

Anyone who is a heavy user should know... each strain and individual phenotype has different effects and benefits.

insomnia, pain, GI pain/issues, appetite, anxiety, "chilling out" rather than being active. <--Indica heavy weed (afhgan/pakistan/hindu kush landraces, bubba kush, grand daddy purps, black domina)

depression, lethargy, nausea, being more active rather than "chilling out" <-- Sativa heavy weed. (Haze strains like Blue Dream, Super lemon haze, Amnesia haze, etc..., Cinderella 99, Colombian, Mexican, Southeast Asian[thai, laos, etc.] and other tropical climate landraces.)

Certain specific strains seem to help certain conditions too.

The Grape Ape ive been running for a couple years, which i got from a lucky bagseed from some real deal grape ape, has amazing medical qualities. I know 3 people who suffer from constant seizures all the time. For some reason the Grape Ape pheno i have is a miracle drug for these folks. they beg for more and more of it because its the only med that really works. one girl even was able to drop her xanax completely since she had a nice stash of my grape ape to help.

and btw its not the stupid Grape Ape that all of a sudden is showing up all over and is for sale from Barney's Farm. Im talking about the CLONE ONLY, all purple buds/calyxes, real deal grape ape which i believe was created by apothecary genetics. probably the only thing they ever did right... as long as its really theirs.

its an "indica x skunk" mix of sorts. indica x skunk hybrids seem to be some of the best strains all around. great effect, easiest to grow, fast growing, easily available... barney's LSD is one. Dinafem Critical + is one, as well as their Powerkush. Big Buddha Cheese is another great example of one. indica x skunk is a cornerstone in cannabis imo.

EDIT: just thought id add that i also have a Nirvana - Venus Flytrap pheno that is gaining popularity in my circle. its Power plant x Top 44 i got lucky and got a unique pheno of it. Its very skunky with a strong almost savory herbal taste. it has INCREDIBLE opiate like pain relief properties... i love this strain.

I don't understand why doctors say weed has no therapeutic use and super addictive and dangerous benzos do...

Actually the AMA has endorsed rescheduling of cannabis:

American Medical Association said:
Results of short term controlled trials indicate that smoked cannabis reduces
neuropathic pain, improves appetite and caloric intake especially in patients with reduced muscle
mass, and may relieve spasticity and pain in patients with multiple sclerosis. However, the
patchwork of state-based systems that have been established for “medical marijuana” is woefully
inadequate in establishing even rudimentary safeguards that normally would be applied to the
appropriate clinical use of psychoactive substances. The future of cannabinoid-based medicine lies
in the rapidly evolving field of botanical drug substance development, as well as the design of
molecules that target various aspects of the endocannabinoid system. To the extent that
rescheduling marijuana out of Schedule I will benefit this effort, such a move can be supported.

If you want someone to blame for the lack of available medications targeting the endocannabinoid system, then blame the lawmakers and the DEA. There are plenty of doctors and pharmacologists / medicinal chemists out there who would like to explore the pharmacological goldmine of cannabinoids, but are unable to do so because of the current legal situation.

I started medicating for anxiety, stress relief, depression, and appetite.

Not long ago, I broke my leg in an accident. I used this opportunity to test mj as a true pain relief medicine. Instead of pills, I used edibles, dabs, and topical cannabis pain balms at an insane rate (relative to most cannabis users intake). Not only did mj control my pain better, it did so without any side effects, and kept my spirits up.

Ive been having a tremendous amount of success by smoking a bowl of CBD weed then a bowl of THC weed. The high is very different but still awesome. Way more mellow and less intense overall, but still has all the fun parts of weed. It's also significantly more therapeutic. If anyone can get their hands on some, I recommend it. For some reason splitting the bowl 50/50 doesn't really work as well.

How do you differentiate between a bowl of CBD weed and a bowl of THC weed? Are you talking about smoking an indica then smoking some sativa?

Ive noticed the mixing intensification as well. Ive been smoking strong BHO wax almost exclusively for the past month or 2, and I didnt expect my buddies bargain weed to really hit me much when he came over the other day. To my surprise, it hit me wonderfully, I loved the addition of the mellow stuff on top of the usual smoke. I also noticed it mixing flowers back in the day, used to do it for taste until I realized how much higher I got.

Ive really come to appreciate cannabis' anti-emetic properties over the past few days after dealing with alcohol poisoning and other nausea/stomach discomfort. Essential for inducing sleep and appetite too. Its also been helping me drink much less than I normally would (just a half pint today woot!) and my family is loving it.

I mean plants bread to have very little THC and only CBD but in huge quantaties. Cannatonic and Cannatsunami are both around 10-12% CBD range compared to .5% for a traditional plant. It doesn't get you high, per say, but you definitley notice something. It chills you the fuck out though. It's like muscle relaxer, benzo, sorta feeling. Mix that with THC and it makes it way more stoney and cough locked, but way more relaxed. It's really quite interesting. It adds a whole new dimension to smoking. Blending the two, figuring out which to mix well. I have a new weed hobby to pursue.
