lol shamefully started playing again after a few year break.

I played under the name nolys and legolas7864 or something but legolas somehow got deleted. I was actually thinking of playing again but all I have is a phone and I can't be assed to use my sis's laptop... I may log in again some day though. How much is membership via txt nowadays or does this fall under price discussion?

108cb, 85 str, 84 att, 81 def, almost 1600 skill total. Not great but oh well. Like Rageius, I also had a severe dueling addiction back when staking was the cool thing to do. I would get up 50,100,200m, then lose it all in the same day. Then play just long enough to make money for a DD(p) and a little bit of cash, and be back at it again. Thank god I'm not into like that anymore, lol.

Within ~3 years of playing I racked up a year of actual playtime...
Gave my account to my little brother after he got hacked, he changed name millions of times then he quit and i gave all my stuff to a mate that we always chatted to on irc.

Anyone in clans? Was offered a place as Clan Europe warlord or one of those higher fighting ranks, and often lead wars. Wasn't a fan of wilderness tbh but that was because my screen was so poor back then it couldn't really tell the difference between black and brown. Original CWA wasn't great either.

RS was pretty fun back in the day. I remember me and this random dude I had started talking to tricked this guy with full Adamant armor that our guild was having a PK tourney in the wilderness and were looking for more people. He was just like "yeah sure ill come" and was immediately ganked. Then there was an argument over who got what and everyone started killing each other.

Invested a lot of hours into this game when I was 13-15, but they changed too much of it and the game became less fun. It was better with a smaller community. Ragnarok, Ragnarok private servers, Maplestory, Flyff, Diablo 2 and WoW are and always have been better games. Runescape is like an MMO lite for kids.
 
Yep used to play all the time when I was in 7th-8th grade. Started in 2001 back when there was only like 2 servers. Left when they changed everything over to RS2.

I actually just started playing again to see how much its changed. its like a whole new game. i like being able to use the 1-9 keys for skills it makes combat much more involved. the graphics look like theyve gotten much better aswell. now its more like a real mmo.
 
I wanted to get back on just to test out the new combat system but sadly my zerker (85/99/45 iirc) got hacked sometime last year when a set of RS passwords (probably from a fansite I used) were released in plaintext.

Oh well, not a huge fan of the game post the recent changes they've made to it. It's a shame though, that account still had RSC access, and that's something I certainly still enjoy, especially with the very tight-knit small community that's left over.

I have some funny memories, like losing 120M+ of gear because I was stoned and forgot I was in a PvP world and teleported into the middle of the city with all my shit on me. I died RIGHT as I opened my bank, but because I was stoned I ended up having a good laugh about it.
 
RS was my childhood...I just started playing again and like 90% of people are bots. I really liked 2004-2006 runescape, now there are less people and most everyone is a bot. Lol I actually enjoyed the old system of combat, they are trying to be like WoW now.

I'm really bummed out because santa hats are 100+million now and I sold mine when it was around 800k.
