Like the clever other poster said, yes I just want to use something for sleep. For some mysterious reason I need to be put in a very sedative and maybe even eurphoric state before i can pass out (fall asleep, stay asleep, etc). The other posters on here find it hard to believe this because they don't have the same problem because they can't imagine why I need Oxycodone to do this. Because they say oxycodone is not for sleep, and benzos are, and other shit. But the fact is oxycodone or other shit like that, thats not designed and labeled for sleep and so on, works for ME to get ME to sleep millions more than other shit does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why am I so different????? I feel I'm the only one!

I've never thought about this deeply enough but I've come to a possible revelation. Could it be because I can't sleep and nothing else puts me to sleep than Oxycodone, be a result of my years of over-endulging on candy and soda? For 10 years I having been consuming more candy and soda than u could dream of each and every day for 10 years....... Could this be the phantom culprit? I never really gave it a thought. I've suffered from extreme sleep deprivation and irregular sleep patterns for years. I feel that I need to sleep at least 12 hours a night in order to feel somewhat normal during the day. I eat so much candy and soda a day and can't stop. I am a slim male. How could candy and soda have this effect on the body? It can't be possible. It can't cause this much sustained pain and human deprivation. I can't accept it. I take centrum and Vitamine B12 everyday, it doesn't make me feel any better. What the hell is going on? The only think that solves anything is oxycodone.

So I was thinking maybe I COULD take that prescription and pay the $25 and try this shit if you say it's sedating. Could work for me, who knows? Is it better than one of those Sleep MD's or Sleep Fast or Happy Dreams (OTC expensive sleep formulas). Those are pretty dull.

BTW: what is soma? If soma is better why didn't my doc give me that instead of cyclobenzaprine? Yes I have a painful and repetitive condition of the neck........................

I'm the same way, I have ADHD, Caffene, Sleeping pills, nothing helps, i tried weed, that helped a bit, but the flexeril works so well to get me to sleep. I'm one of those people who is in a constant high level of pain, i was taking up to 3,000 mg of ibprofin every 6 hours.... i got perscribed flexeril for a pulled muscle, and WOW, i auctually slept for more than 2 hours, and i fell asleep in under 2 hours...

I usually spend up to 4 hours laying in bed waiting to fall asleep, by the time i've finally gotten to sleep i have to get up due to the pain im in. This flexeril has helped me so much, but even 10mgs doesn't do much, im up to 20-30 mgs, neone know anything else i could ask my doc for?

Flexeril is a joke of a muscle relaxant. Its something doctors prescribe because they don't want to give out Soma. It just makes me feel drowsy.

it sucks balls compared to zanaflex...

never took it recreationally but it isnt a good muscle relaxer

Flexeril sucks all around. I just got prescribed Zanaflex, and if you want something to help you sleep, man that's the ticket. I take on 4mg tablet and I am so relaxed and tired. I'm pretty much out within the hour.
