any REAL mu activity

hi

i know there have been several threads regarding potential mu activity of plants other then p. somniferum. i have sampled many of these plants and their alkaloids, and at this point the only one which i can really attest to having true opioid activity is kratom. so i am curious if anyone here has any thoughts on this matter. i know things like nigella sativa and Sophora subprostrata have been mentioned as having potential, but in my experience neither of these provided anything that could not be attributed to placebo.

so id love to hear from some people here that have some experience in this area. has anyone here come across anything (other then kratom) that truly provided mu agonism to any signifigant degree? please list anything you found worthwhile and any pertinent details. look forward to reading responses

yes i believe u are correct, however i believe menthol acts mainly (if not exclusively) at kappa.

there seems to be a very long list of plants and alkaloids that are REPORTED IN STUDIES to have mu activity, but I am really looking for solid reports from people who actually have experienced these effects and can attest to them.

You're probably going to find many that will bind, like eseroline, but most aren't present in high enough concentrations or have strong enough activities that aren't opioid related (antihistaminic, PDE-inhibitors, etc)

Aside from kratom, the most likely candidate seems to be Picralima nitida, although I've never known anyone who's actually tried it.

coolio did you note to me the dose on that one, i do not recall you mentioning her use of that...

anyway that is a bio-guided extract to note so indeed is not of same nature as other materials such as a concentrated extract (ie., 10:1) woudl be
