Love It
Hi All,
I've been taking Piracetam daily for about 6 months.
The first few times I took the 'attack' dose of >3000mg I felt completely lucid, clear and just totally sound. I got absorbed in books from which my attention would have usually waned.. it helped a lot with creativity and assertiveness and verbal expression.
I'm usually quiet and get a bit self-conscious, even at unnecessary times, like say ordering a drink in a cafe. I also go from being dead hyper and happy, to uselessly dead and foggy-minded. Apart from that, I'm young(ish) and of a positive mindset, and so I just felt that there must be something I could supplement with to balance me out a bit.
So I cultivated an interest in the mind and started experimenting with different drugs, herbs and supplements and stuff. Of all of them, Piracetam has helped me the most, and is the only one I'm really keen to continue.
I study as many internet resources on it as I can find, and listen to all different experiences, and don't doubt that many find it useless. I've overdone it a few times and felt sleepy, I've had the 'fast' effect and the 'slow' effect from it. But for me now, a maintainance dose of around 800mg per day is great, bar a few jitters, and I feel a lot sharper.
It puts a very 'real' spin on life.. you feel as if you can see a reality that you've not been easy enough to notice before. It's like taking the blurry lens cap off and things shift better into perspective. I'm not saying that everyone will feel the same.. some people are naturally lucid and sharp, but the subtle shift it's given me has been really positive. Sometimes when you see people out and about that look half dead, with vacant glazed eyes.. I reckon that they could use a bit. (I probably looked like that for years to be honest)
It doesn't feel too great with regular alcohol consumption, but you can get away with the odd one or two.
I've tried combining it with Hydergine, Pramiracetam, Selegiline, Vasopressin, and I've tried all of those on their own. In brief, Hydergine was ok, Pram was way too strong, Selegiline was cool but I enjoyed it better on its own, and Vasopressin would be great if not for the mad water-retention.
Taking Piracetam with Lecithin 1200mg capsules is a wonder-combo, better than the standard 'Choline Bitartrate'.
Regarding intelligence/mind-boosting, I read somewhere that 'you're the same idiot, only faster.' This cracked me up and is true, I haven't been coming up with astounding works of genius or anything, but I can study for longer and concentrate better, and am more consistent, so I reckon I'm acting 'more intelligent'.
Sorry for the long post. Hope you find of some interest!
