Any info on getting Oxycontin in Mexico with a script

If I go to Mexico with an American script will a Mexican pharmacy accept it or do I have to go to a Mexican doctor then have them rewrite me a script?

If anyone has physically been in Mexico and done this please give me some feedback on how it went. I have read conflicting reports from several months ago about almost the same topic.

I am also going to fly to Canada to fill my script. Does anyone know if the formula has been changed recently? I had some CDN 80s and went to IV it. As soon as I applied heat it completely gelled up. I have read countless time here on BL that the CDNs are exactly like the America OC 80s. I always apply heat to my crushed up America OC 80s and not once has it gelled.

Any info will be greatly appreciate

You're not supposed to heat pills, especially OCs. Just use water and filter (with micron filters.)

yeah, how come they changed the american OC's but not the canada ones?

I see an influx of canada oxycontin making it to the states sometime in the future. it'd be a smart thing as plenty of people would jump on it. especially those with lots of money, they'd buy up as many as they could just to have a stash of non-gelling oxycontin again.

All "farmacias" in Mexico take the exact same script. The U.S. Dollar. If you have that, no other paper required, in Mexico.

I think the hassle of getting a "local" Mexican doc involved would depend on whether you are visiting a border town or going further into the interior of the country.

Personally, I would not involve anyone else in the "transaction" It just means someone else that will have to be paid for their "services."

Now, if you were thinking about getting a "pain doc" actually in Mexico, then I don't have an answer for that. And that does present a great question. Are there "valid" docs. there, who would provide a legal script, that COULD be filled THERE, in country. Anyone with first hand knowledge?

But even if you could get the script, perfectly legal, I think the farmacias is where you will be raped. If Mexican's know nothing else, they sure the hell know how to extract cash out of the Americans' pockets.

^That's right. You don't need a script to get Oxy in Mexico, you just need to walk into a pharmacy and ask and have money, I've never seen a pharmacy in Mexico that asked for prescriptions, but I've never been very far into the interior. Anywhere near the border or northern central Mexico and there are lots of pharmacies, none ask for a prescription. I strongly doubt any pharmacy in Mexico will deny you your pills if you have money and a script, even an American one, and very few will even ask for a script. Like Pchild said though0, be careful.

I have done it before and tried using my script for oxy at several pharmacies to no avail. I finally went into this nice dental office that dig surgeries and obviously prescribed pain meds and showed them script for the oxy and asked him if It was even possible to get it filled. He told me "No, Oxy is illegal in Mexico and the only people who have it are the cartels." Straight from a dentist's mouth.

If you want to score oxy's just ask the mail street vendors...

In addition to all the problems mentioned with getting Oxy in Mexico. The biggest issue is bringing it across the border safely.

One can typically bring a "usual quantity" across of any med -antibiotics, etc. (meaning no more than a 3 month supply).

However, when declaring or not declaring a controlled substance, the penalties and issues behind it are bigger and more complicated. It all depends who you get at the border and what your story/plan is going to be for taking it across the border.
Undeclared narcotics across country borders is a felony.

I am in northern NY for school and the CDN OCs are now the main OCs here.

@Athenaa; Why don't you just goto a pharmacy and get the generics. Most of the generics are the original OCs. Not every pharmacy has them, but if you are willing to goto Mexico for them, then surely you are willing to drive around to a bunch a pharmacies in your area to see if they have the generic OCs distributed by Ethex or Apotex that are really the OC 80 pills.

This is a very "complicated" issue that I didn't mention. Do you declare your meds, with the chance that they will keep 'em. Or do you keep quite, with the chance that they will find 'em.

I will say, thats one lonely place, as one stands in front of a custom's officer, being interrogated.

The only time I've received good prescription drugs in Mexico was in Tijuana, I had to go to about 13 different pharmacies and be denied by each one until I figured out there was a doctor's office that you could just walk into and tell him what you needed. Then it got sketchy because the doctor himself didn't trust most of the local pharmacies and drove me in his own car to a pharmacy that he worked with and told the people at the pharmacy to fill the scripts for Valium and Vicodin. Sure enough they filled the scripts and the medication was quality, up to U.S. standards.

I didn't declare anything, I just took the pills out of the blister packs they came in and walked right through the border to San Diego. This was a couple years ago though.

I'm sure you just have to know the right pharmacies and it's probably easy, but after that experience I felt it was too much trouble to go through and there were easier ways to get those drugs.

I have a friend who regularly goes down there and he always has to see a doctor first but he gets whatever he wants drug wise and they work as good as the prescription drugs do here.

I was in San Felipe not too long ago and went to all the pharmacies I could find and not one of them would sell me anything that was any good. They all seemed very concerned about appearing professional and legitimate which is odd because Mexico is so fucking corrupt and lawless, it's like the wild west in some parts.

Bottom line is I'm bad at getting drugs in Mexico, I'm sure I just don't know where the right pharmacies are.

While never doing this personally, if I was going back I probably would. Get a cab and tell them what your looking for. You would have to provide a "tip," but they would know where all the "product" is

Of course they could be crooked or hooked up with LE, so its not without risk. But TJ is a big place, and it can be risky in itself, running all over town asking for OC.

And probably the best source that I ever obtained OC from, was on a second floor office. It wasn't a pharmacy, but you told 'em what you wanted, and they went to the back and got it!

TJ is truly a "wild, wild west" place. ALWAYS use extreme caution there, as it certainly is not the good 'ol U.S

I don't IV anything and never have... but I'm sure glad I visit and know about bluelight.

I'm sure everyone would agree that we read some dumb stories of people who don't even think twice about the possible harm they are doing to their bodies.

(in this case heating the pill for inject, you're not supposed to if I remember right)

People shooting pills using only cotton.. this list goes on.

I personally like to research anything that can be potentially dangerous to me before I proceed, and that's the way everyone should be.

I mean this website is about HARM REDUCTION yet we get so many threads about the harm having already happened. C'mon people there are thousands of brilliant people on this website that have great info for harm reduction. USE IT!

Sorry to be off topic

i didnt think u needed a script in mexico, im pretty sure u can just go into a pharmacy and buy aplarazopam or oxycodone

My friend and I drove to mexico (live in phoenix) to score drugs when we were 17. ended up getting caught crossing back into America with 300 somas and 2 bottles Deca Durabalin (steroid)

because we weren't 18 we had to wait for parents to come pick us up so needless to say we had a lot of time bullshitting with the border patrol.

They informed us that if you're over 18yrs old you can legally bring back 50 pills as long as you notify the border patrol when they ask.

1. I'm not sure if he was just talking about somas or all pills

and

2. I'm not sure if he meant 50 of each type of med or a combined total of 50 pills.
