Any Egyptians here who care to relate the scene in Cairo atm?

7 years ago I left Egypt to go back to my home country (Canada) after spending nearly 6 years there in the capital. I have a little trip planned back there now where Ill be staying for the winter season and a bit of early spring.

I wanna know if there is in fact any dope to be had in the city, what with all the political turbulence the country is going through atm. Now, Im not looking to source anything on the threads in here (read the rules and such), but just want someone to communicate if it would indeed be futile to try and go cold copping (i.e does it help that i'm dark skinned?)

I know it sounds like a really dangerous undertaking, but I speak the language well and feel like I know the culture enough; try and avoid the overly religious types and what not, try and make friends with taxi drivers, etc.

I know that still guarantees nothing, because when I lived there I've seen really poor people who would be capable of slicing you with razors they kept in their mouths (apparently) for any sort of guap. Ive dealt in really murky areas around the world, even been locked up in a Cairo holding cell for a night with a few buddies on a non drug related thing, but I digress....

Ive kinda calmed down the weed and hash thing, dont necessarily enjoy it to much as Ive had my fair share of getting stoned for the past few years. Vancouver, BC is inundated with all types of marijuana/hash/butter/oil. Plus the white powder H was available easily if you knew where to go, which, if you've been there, is not hard to guess :\ Im assuming the case in ME countries would have the brown rocky stuff, probably moved in from Turkey?

TL;DR - friendly, brotherly Egyptians, to adventure or not to get my ass handed to me, that is the question
 
Yes for some reason everyone asks in here what the drug scene in Egypt is like. Are they taking the piss? I sphinx it's mad.

Anyway, at least it Giza's the chance for lot's of Egyptian related puns.

I've searched for this topic on here and google and got barely 2 relevant results, of which one was the other thread about drugs in egypt, which contained all the oh so funny puns I get to re read now. Naturally, it got closed, along with another similar one, due to sourcing attempts.

My point of making the post was just so Egyptians on the forum (if there even are any) can tell me how dangerous the scene is now, as back when I lived there with Mubarak in charge it was fairly lax.

On topic, well man, the situation down there seems volatile to say the least, I would be extremely careful as the police have been even more heavy handed than usual lately, if I were you I would seriously consider delaying my trip or maybe choosing another destination.

The fuse was lit in Serbia almost 100year's ago and I think when the 90yr old King of shitty Saudi "If we let women drive men will turn gay!" Dude I touched down a few days ago at like 2 in the morning. First taxi ride in the country to my apartment and he already knows a dealer to get me hash. Hmm.....


Still havent rang him yet but will do soon and see if his dealer carries anything else
 
Let us know how it goes, if you dont get everythign stolen :), i'm off to north africa soon and theres a few things i've been wondering. 1, obv about the drug scene but i'll scope than when i get there,

2. How much does it cost to rent a morotbike, just a little 125cc thing to mission around on, how much would i be looking at a day roughly does anyone know? If you see any around mac10 ask for me please :)
