Any drawbacks with oral vs sublingual LSD?

I've always held LSD tabs under my tongue for 5 minutes or so before swallowing. I just came by a few tabs (my first in years) from a source I consider reliable but with the advent of NBOMes it seems there's now a greater risk of other chems being passed off as LSD. Given this, I'm thinking the conservative approach would be to swallow the tabs, rather than holding under the tongue. Assuming the tabs really are LSD, is there any drawback with this ROA versus sublingual? I'd have thought not, but some anecdotal reports here and elsewhere indicate otherwise so looking for a bit more data. Thanks

The biggest drawback is speed of come-up. It might be a slightly weaker trip. But if you are concerned about the quality that may be what you want. The biggest drawback with NBOM would be it's ability to ruin subsequent trips in the immediate future. Although the first time I think I took it (thinking it was acid) it was a beautiful trip. But then lights out. No more tripping on anything for weeks. No matter how much I took.

Thanks Elkat. Not concerned about tolerance. This will be the first time I've tripped in years and probably the last for a similarly-long duration (the whole, Watts things about getting the message and hanging up...). But I'll be taking 3 or 4 tabs, a dose I'm very comfortable with provided it's LSD. If it's a compound I've never tried before, I'd want to start much lower, particularly given that idiosyncratic reactions seem comparatively common with NBOMes.

What is the print on the tab? I'm curious if I've seen it or taken it. Report back afterwards, I'd be interested to hear if you think it was actually acid. The first time I was sold something that wasn't acid, the trip was so crazy good, I thought this is what acid should be like all the time. I have a strong strong strong suspicion it was 2c-e actually, because it was like all my other 2c-e trips subsequently. But at the time, I was so wrapped up in the experience that I could tell this was a different experience, but it was so fantastic I didn't care. Then my other two friends came to join us and took the drop (we call them crazy drops now) and he was like dudes.... you've been RC'd. i was like, well if this is what it means to be RC'd - BRING IT ON! haha. This was obviously a different experience then when I took what I think was the NBOMes. Which was still a fun night a least once. Really colorful if not as emotionally deep. So if it is not acid, hopefully you can still have a positive experience.

I honestly haven't noticed much of a difference.
I usually take all my tabs sublingually now though because even if I have NBOMe on the blotter I paid money for it, might as well get a trip out of it

If I take LSD orally my tummy rumbles all the time, not painfully so, but rather annoying either way

I almost never get nausea from LSD either orally or sublingually, the only exception is if I haven't eaten that day.
But with shrooms or 2c chems I usually get persisting nausea, and good god is it annoying, and very inconvenient, especially at festivals
