Any contraindictaions taking KAVA with aMT?

Does this sound like bad idea? Both are said to be weak MAO inhibitors but I'm not quite sure whether kavas' MAOI activity is anyhing significant. I know It's late but Im coming down from an 80mgs plugged aMT trip and want to be sedated for rest. The aMT was taken 10 hours ago and I'm pretty much baseline. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated :D

Kava's MAOI effects are mild at best (also selective for MAO-B i thought), it should not be a concern.

Thanks for your response. I took the kava and had no problems whatsoever. Although I suspected it to be a very weak MAOI I was clueless, turns out it was even weaker than I thought.

I have never used that psyc, and i dont know how u trip out. but. as far as im aware kava kava root increases dopamine levels. How this will effect you, only u will know.

From a harm reduction point of view, valerin root would probably be more neutral of an anxyilotic.
