Any complications with Mirtazipine (remeron) and smoked DMT?

I am trying to determine if it will be safe to try DMT, which after many years of desire has finally found me, while I am currently taking Mirtazipine (remeron) ?

Anyone here who knows if it is safe?

Or anyone here who has smoked DMT while taking Mirtazipine (remeron) ?

Mirtazipine is a tetracyclic antidepressant for those that dont know....

Mirtazapine is a nasty 5-HT2a antagonist that'll block the psychedelic effects of the DMT. In fact, all psychedelics will be significantly reduced if not blocked by the mirtazapine, through its 5-HT2a antagonism and the downregulation of that receptor as well.

Are you sure of this?

I have been researching for hours and found conflicting information. Some sites say that it will decrease the effects of DMT, others say it will nearly double the potency of the dmt...

This kind of conflicting info is terrible, I dont know if I need to take more or less than the doses my friends will be taking.

DMT being as potent as it is, should produce some psychedelic effect, no?

I mean, I recently took a low dose of mushrooms while on mirtazipine and I definatly tripped although it seemed a bit less potent than in the past (but it has been a few years since Ive taken mushrooms without mirtazipine, and the potency of the mushrooms would have been different as well)
 
a friend has smoked dmt while taking mirtazapine and noticed no change in effects at all.

I honestly hope that was not diminished effects of DMT...

I can not even come close to being capable of fathoming something more otherworldly than the experience I had a few hours ago...

I thought I was experienced with psychedelics....

If anyone else is taking Mirtazipine (Remeron) and wanting to smoke DMT please do not go into it thinking the effects will be minimal.

That was so amazing that words can not describe it. The best experience in my entire life. I want to smoke it again in the future, but not any time soon.

I smoked 7 deep hits out of a lightbulb (about 50mg plus some that had recrystalized from previous smoke sessions) and it was so much more than I thought it would be.

I had to thank, for existing, the person who extracted it. It was beyond imagination. I had read up on it for years and thought I had an understanding of what to expect. It BLEW MY FUCKING MIND!
 
ha, glad it worked! I'd imagine the effects would be diminished in some people and effected negligibly in others. These things tend to vary significantly from person to person.
