There is hi-tech psy night in London 24th Brixton. Some of y'all might wanna check it out? Havent read the whole thread so dont know if its been established that everyone hates psy (not I) or if its the preferred beats of choice!

Was at a BL meetup years back in Bristol, made some good friends too (I was close to Carsick just before he departed and knew mugabe a little bit too :( ). Would love to see some of you again!

Carsick was the very first BLer I met - also one of the finest fellas I've ever met. Probably bumped into your good self a little later that night too ;)

Met Mugz at the somewhat less thrilling location of a cheap hotel room just outside Brum - not just the two of us, that would have been either very wee-urd or very cosy.
 
I fecking wish I did though! That would be a treat and a half!! If ever I felt down I could always look at a photo like that and crack up!

actually rassy, i didnt name one dnb artists there at all. unless you count aphex and squarepusher, but theyre more IDM;)

and actually, even tho im not a very well established member, i started the thread so MEMEMEMEMEME!!! whta about newcastle? geordie shore is a red herrimg and nothing likemnewcastle's propr night life if like.

EVAD was actually from there; we have lush little pubs just outside the city centre frequemted by 20-40yo's on a river (the ousbourne) and qutie oftenhas live music. just the right grotty level pubs too with quite a lively drugs scene. i'd defy any bluelighter not to like it!

and it's cheap as a one legged prossie

oh and i could get some very likeminded friends to join. you know the sort, brasseye/peepshow fans,potheads, dreadlocks, drumnass fans, corbyn supporters, adidas samba wearers etc etc you know the kind of wankers i mean :)

The X-Mess do in Newcastle way back when was a great laugh - Felix, Evad, B9, Fastandbulbous, Johnny Boy, MinM, Pecky, Mashhead - blimey, them were the days . . .

Good to see JonL - remember that Bristol night with Carsick et al - all so long ago now . . .
 
I really miss FnB! Never got to meet him. Hope he's doing well. I've said on more than a few occasions how much I miss his mug around here. ( well, tbf, mentioned off site to other bl'ers )

That man could make anyone smile!
