I need to get on a benzo for my anxiety, ive been addicted to kratom for the past 8 or 9 months. i need to quit taking it, i originally started taking it for anxiety and depression it worked for a while but i no longer get any positive effects from it. I have problems with my lungs i dont breathe normally so depressing my breathing isnt a great idea. My question is are there any benzos out there that dont cause any CNS depression? RC benzos count too! I just dont know of any please help.
Thank you

I don't think there is any that don't cause ANY cns depression, but there is certainly that cause less than others, i.e. xanax to Vallium in equivalent doses. But they are designed differently and treat different kinds of anxiety.

when you say you dont breathe normally what does that mean? because of anxiety or you have a respiratory problem?
if its anxiety a benzo could def help with that or even a SSRI
i over breathe like crazy and while on xanax or valium i breathe normal

Its respiratory but when i get real short on breath because of it i kinda start freaking out and hyperventilating so i could totally see how that would help

Idk though since ive had this respiratory problem ive been adraid to do any drugs that cause CNS depression so im not really sure how it would affect me i just would rather be safe than sorry you know?

I did i tried to thank you but it said i had to wait 180 mins and i just unded up forgetting tp send the msg haha thanks tho man seriously

I'd say Pyrazolam is the easiest on your CNS whilst producing fair anxiolytic effects. It's a very 'functional Benzo'
