So I'm still having symptoms of akathisia (3.5!) weeks after stopping Mirtazapine. I'm sleeping badly, cannot even watch a 30min TV show and am going to lose my mind soon.

I tried Propanolol but it didn't help and screws with my blood sugar. Cogentin produced more anxiety. Valium, Lorazepam, Xanax and Clonazepam make me more agitated and aggressive. I think I recalled reading on here once that Oxazepam may be less likely to produce paradoxical disinhibition. I know someone mentioned Temazepam in an earlier post, but wasn't sure if it was suitable for daytime use.

that sounds horrible i sincerely hope someone on here has the perfect advice for you, i wish i had any advice. when i see a thread like this it makes me think about how i feel when in dwithdrawl/detox and i feel so bad for you that you have to feel this way. i know youre not feeling detox sick, but whats going on with you must be hell for you. i wish you well and hope you figure something out ASAP

thanks man -- I appreciate the sympathy. yah it is hellish .. thank god for Youtube to keep me distracted. I tried seeing a doctor but they weren't much help, and I can't really afford a psychiatrist. not sure what to do.
