Any Adverse effects with Adderall and Xanax combo?

I took an adderall 20mg xr about 6 hours ago and I'm coming down. I'm thinking about taking 1.5mg of alprazolam to help chill me out and then go to sleep. Are there any adverse effects to these doses? I usually take alprazolam to come off of adderall but normally it's more like 10-12 hours after my dose not this soon. Is this something safe I can do again in the future if I need to? I have a pretty decent tolerance to alprazolam (well 2mg is my limit before I'm in full zombie mode and just go to sleep so maybe it's not that decent but I guess I would say i'm experienced with both substances). I've read on this forum that it's mostly safe but it was older topics and I don't know if information has changed or something. I just figure better safe than sorry you know? So generally how safe if this combination?

If you are going to take the alprazolam purely for the function of easing the "comedown" and with your experience I would say it is ok.
You posted this about 6 hours ago, so any feedback on what you did would be nice to know.
