the time in which we live
occupies a struggle that takes place
between two opposing principles
it's impossible to amalgamate
they're diametrically aligned
to antagonate one another
the principle of the Affirmative
the principle of the Negative
one builds you up, one pulls you down
one consents initiative of all creation
one denies that it has any power of initiative
which in lies the essence of the opposition
whatever one affirms, the other negates
so, the conflict proceeds until a victor is placed
the spirit of the antithetical conception
is upon us, futile to shut our eyes
a hindrance has limped through time
and if it be removed, it's power shall be
