Antipsychotics for treatment of allergies?

Im currently taking 5mg a night of Zyprexa & am probably going to change back to 100mg of Seroquel.
Anyways I was just curious if APs have a high ehough affinity if histamine receptors to help allergies as good as the usual otc AHs such as doxylamine, dph & promethazine?

I take APs off label for anxiety & I also suffer from really bad allergies to pollen, dust fur, mould etc. & I take codeine & sometimes oxy which also makes me itchy.
I noticed on a website Seroquel has about twice the affinity to H1 receptors as Zyprexa & am wondering if that means it would help my allergies better. Im going to change back to Seroquel anywau cuz it has a shorter half life. ive also noticed it's the only AP listed as an AH on wikipedia.

So will taking Seroquel help my allergies?
Will it help my allergies better than Zyprexa?

Seroquel/quetiapine probably would yes - at lower doses it is purely an antihistamine. Some antihistamines (eg promethazine) also have antipsychotic qualities too.

I don't have time to check receptor affiinities now but I'd imagine Seroquel would help your allergies more than Zyprexa (olanzapine) but whether it is strong enough an antihistamine or not I am not sure.
