I've been prescribed an old antipsychotic, pericyazine. For my severe anxiety (GP's words) and possibly obsessive behaviour. I also get depression but this is more of a side effect of the anxiety, ie. if I hadn't been afraid to go back to uni in a new town and ran away before even enrolling I wouldn't have suffered the worst depression I'd had yet.
Anyway, I'm not planning any drugs binges or anything but I'd like to know if anyone knows of interactions between these meds and recreational drugs. I already found some threads saying don't take MDMA, is this because it will react badly or because it won't work? I've never taken it before but the opportunity might come up soon. I'm more interested in any reaction with K as that's my fave. I know that benzos and opiates can increase the effects of breathing and drowsyness. How about psychedelics? I think my affair with those is over now anyway but I'm curious anyway.
If there are bad side effects could I swap the meds for benzos for a few days beforehand since they seem to be doing the same job?
