This is a circular vortex..spelleng.spelleng..spel
a little background, for the past 18 months ive been experimenting with opiates, first oxy, then hydromorphs, then sometimes heroin, i don't like morphine.
in september my job descrioption changed, and i started receiving at a warehouse type job, pulling 2000 pound skids off delivery trucks, and pulling them to the otherside of the store(maybe a quarter of a kilometer), at the time, they didn't have enough people to have an electrical training course,(which to this day i have not), from october on i have had backpain every single day, and my opiate usage increased, and for the past 2 months maybe has been 1-4 times dailey iv, now at a dosage of 18mg of hydromorphone per shot.

My tolerance has shot up no pun intended, but the nausea is unbearable, when i shoot up i puke constatly from 20 seconds after the plunger is in for about 12 hours after that shot, gravol barley helps, i have went form 190,down to 130 pounds,(i was a bit chubby, with a nice beer belly, at 6foot 1 inchs), now, i puke violently when i cook up my shot, i am trying to stop, but my back pain is soo, bad and now i get sick when i dont shoot, i made it 44 hours the other day, but i always seem to find a way to get more, even when i am dead broke(which is often with the cost of opiates in my town).

is there anything i can do about my nausea?the weight loss sucks, if my phone was working i could show a picture from november and now, my parents now know i shoot, and i might get kicked out soon, i am constantly throwing up at work or missing shifts, making me even more broke. Also what is with the anticipatory nausea? its fucking stupid.

thanks for your time, i hope that wasnt tl:Dr, and mods, if this is better suited for the darkside feel free to move it, thanks, all,

Tried Phernagren? (sp sp) That's all I can think of that would help... Try to make up something to get a script of it from your Dr. If you can't do that, there are probably other solutions, I never get much nausea, so I can't say for sure.

Can you decrease the amount of nausea via ROA ? If so maybe if you started snorting/plugging and continued to use anti-nausea meds AND made sure that food was on your stomach before each dose it could be bearable. Pain in the back can absolutely ruin a person, I understand the need to combat the pain as much as possible but it sounds like you are also chasing the high. I have found through personal experience that you cannot do that if you intend on managing your pain for a long time. I am not trying to sound judgmental it is just that I have been where you are as far as trying to figure out how to get through the day with all the side effects and down sides that come with opiates. I hope this helps you, just try and think outside of the box and find a solution that works best for you. I hope you get to feeling better fluff.

Damn that's a lot of dilaudid! I've been there before, and got out of control. Almost lost my job a few times, family, etc...

I always felt sick but held it in, and just had my mouth pouring out saliva trying not to throw up. I was up to 16mg per shot multiple times a day. One thing that did work was mixing in some promethazine with the shot... Try to take a good look at yourself and realize what you've lost and what you will loose if you continue.

I do hope you can reduce your dosage, or maybe completely stop one day. Good luck and take care.

Thats ridiculous. I am a heroin addict and I never get nauseous from heroin. If youre throwing up it means your dose is too high.

Yeah and you also think you go into WD when you quit smoking weed. I know a TON of people who get sick from opiates no matter if they are using a maintenance/pain management/recreational dose. Not everyone is the same. By the way, you WD is probably caused by your intense craving for the drug manifesting itself as physical symptoms. There is absolutely no proof what so ever that MJ contains anything that your body becomes dependent on..

You tried compazine? (prochlorperazine) You can buy it otc (i know you can here, dunno about the usa where i assume you are) in the form of buccastem - you place it under your top lip (buccal admin)

I use it occasionally for nausea from opiate/opioid painkillers & it is very effective indeed.
