The sun peeks over the mountaintops
On the day that once was
Too far away
Every detail
Fixed as can be
And now I mindlessly
Recite them
Allowing the excitement to
Swell up
Heart jumping
Stomach turning
Face glowing
And I feel the splash of sunlight on my face.
The warmth of the sun
The cool of the air
Somehow enhance
Sharpen every detail
The minutes drag
So close now
I thought this day would never come
But will the hour?
I lay back and listen to the birds
How they anticipated the sunrise
Warbling in darkness
But now,
As their waited moment arrives
They break out in full
I am surrounded by their song
A tribute to a moment
I think about my planned praise
Of my waiting moment
Smiling, I follow the birds
Preempting the moment
With a premature accolade

if you found out you were dreaming, would you want to wake up?
Please don't interrupt me. That last sentence took a lot of effort to think of and now I have to think of another one.

nice.
Feels just like this time of year.
That crisp, clean feel about the air and the sunlight.

What the fuck, the fuck have I become? I've become the product of the sum. Caught in this endless circle. I've become the stupidest man in the world.
