Depression Anti - suicidal meds needed ASAP!

Due to my plan to end it all I won't have my 10mg Oxycodone for the next 12 days. I still have some codeine and bromazepam and hope that will cover this period without serious withdrawal effects.

I wrote some stuff above before I checked again. You shouldn't drink with this and I looked and could not find out how long it takes to work. The good thing about this drug is that is non addictive and doesn't have withdrawals,
or many of the other side effects.

It should be taken with or without food in the evening an hour or 2 before bedtime. It helps with sleep apparently,
Anxiety and of course major depressive
disorder. It doesn't cause drowsiness the main issue seems to be, you should get your liver enzymes tested and it may not work after a year or so. If there are some side effects wait to see if they go away.

I have no idea for sure; However there was no info on how many days or weeks till it really works. This actually could mean it starts working soon. It is different than other antidepressants and I really hope it can drag you out of the hole your in. ( I use that to describe myself at times after listening to and watching the video for Alice in Chains hit song, 'Down in a Hole.
Well that and the post above are what I could find. If you need to write to someone who doesn't mind or know you or anything feel free to write me anytime bro. I really hope and pray you can beat this and your new medication helps you. Please stay alive.

Im sorry for what you're going through.

Im glad that you're taking steps to try and lessen the impact your suicide might have on others.

I dont have PTSD, but I was hospitalized with suicidal ideation three times just last year. My mother died in 2018 and im still in terrible pain after all these years.

I'm neither condoning or condemning suicide, but I hope you will take as many steps as possible to try to get through this.

BTW, fluoxetine jas been somewhat helpful for me. Recreational doses of lamictal lift me out of depression every once in awhile. But I have had extensive breakthrough suicidal ideation with both.

Thanks for your kind words. I hope you will get better too. People don't understand what are we going through and when someone really commits suicide, their comments are:"Why did he do it, he wasn't sick?"

Ya these 2 drugs actually work quite well at reducing suicide risk. Much unlike antidepressants. As someone who is on antipsychotics i have thought about going on clozapine if the zyprexa ever stops working. However im not suicidal so theres no reason for me to jump on it right away.

Have you tried uppers? A few 24oz black coffees is not as good of a tweak as ADHD meds in my experience, but see if it makes a difference.

For long-term solutions, have you tried psychoanalysis? It's hard to find a therapist that isn't just "paying a guy to listen to your talk." But if you can find a psychoanalysis who specializes in PTSD and other problems you have, someone who wants to see you for an initial consult in person, and puts emphasis on seeing if you're the right fit, that's someone you should probably trust to actually radically change things.

After 4 days on Agomelatine l noticed 2 things. 1. It helps a bit with the suic. thoughts. 2. I can't sleep more than 3 hours. Can I take it during the day?

Lithium is known as a regular augmentation therapy for treatment-resistant depression. Shouldn't be difficult to manage.

If that medication works then great.

Your doctor should advise when you can take it. From my layman point of view I don't see why not, though.

10mg Endone (legally prescribed) saved my life again.

Hi,

I haven't read through the complete thread, so what I'm about to write may be irrelevant. I've had similar problems.
I use dexamphetamine and a benzodiazepine. These will elevate your dopamine, serotine and gaba. I feel a lot better
now. I also take escitalopram, actually I started with this one almost a year ago. But that as a standalone, actually made
the longing for death even worse after a while. Seemingly to work for short term relieve only.

I wish you courage, strength and succes.
