Anti depressants and rolling

Hello friends. I have never posted anything on here before but i need some help. Me and my girlfriend are going to at show may 28th and she wants to roll for the first time. Ive done it more times than i can count and know a pretty good amount about the drug but not in this situation. She takes Fluoxetine 40mg and bupropion for 20 mg a day . Will she be ok rolling since she takes these and if not can she just not take them for like a day or two before the show? Or does she have to be off them for like a month?

Doubt it would be a smart idea to rol as both anti - derpressants and MDMA cause a release of serotonin in the brain. If mixed it cause serotonni syndrome which can be deadly

yeah i dont know much, other than anti-depressants kinda counter the effects of mdma, as well you would have to be off of them for a good two weeks er so, i think.... because of how they build up in your body. if she is taking them for depression, i advise some extra caution, as coming off for a few weeks will suck, ontop of that, the comedown will be hard. but i leave it up to you to be the judge. best of luck and be safe! sorry i can't provide much accurate information.
 
Hey there, no she shouldn't roll whilst is on antidepressant, Fluoxetine, Bupropion and MDMA has 2 different mechanism of actions, but they both work on the same site - the reuptake channels of serotonin, and fluoxetine (possibility and bupropion) has a higher ability to bind to the reuptake channels, therefore she needs a higher dose of MDMA to achieve the same effect. She shouldn't try go rolling by stopping to take her meds, the SSRI requires some time for it to work, it has something to do with the down-regulation of receptors on the post-synaptic neurone (the brain cells that receives the serotonin signals)

Mmm2223 is right. fluoxetine is an SSRI, it will not increase your serotonin levels combined with MDMA like colin mentioned. Quite on the contrary, it will partially or completely block the MDMA from working by blocking the mechanism by which it releases serotonin. It is useless to take MDMA while on this class of drugs and for a while after even. The bupropion will have a small influence but nothing major, it could make the roll a bit speedier. But again, you're not going to roll while on fluoxetine

If she wants to take MDMA I'd get off the tablets and get councillin/therapy lol.
The reason I dont take antidepressants is because I enjoy MDMA to much paha. Fuck that I'm getting ccouncillin I dont believe antidepressants work its a mind thing like kinda like a learning curve of some sort, tablets mask it
