Does anyone know if it is OK to take an antacid if I plan to take an E later tonight? Have a bad stomach, but obviously dont want to do anything to impair my enjoyment of said pill. Can anyone advise me? Apologies if this question is answered elsewhere on the forum - I couldn't find any threads about it.
 
I take prevacid, and it's never seemed to get in the way of MDMA for me.
 
i'm always gun shy of ruining pills by taking prilosec, tums, etc. They certainly do affect some medications, so i've always played it safe..
 
I used the chewable quik eze last time I rolled to avoid nausea and it worked, but I had it after swallowing the pill just in case it messed with the absorbsion. I only had it when I started to feel nauseous.
 
I seem to remember (I think BilZ0r writing) that reducing the acidic level of the stomach actually helps with absorbtion of MDMA to wit antacids may actually be beneficial.

Don't go crazy though lads/lassies it doesn't help that much but certainly doesn't hinder.
 
She forgot to take them in the end, anyway (thread was posted by my gf while I was in the shower)

On a similar subject, I have definitely found that hyoscine butylbromide does block the positive effects of MDMA but doesn't much reduce negative effects. it's used to treat IBS, so admittedly, if you're having a flare up, taking e probably isn't the best idea in the world anyway.
 
For amphetamines like adderall I know that taking an antacid makes the comeup harder and faster.

Drinking water with baking soda in it (read the instructions on the box) works well.

I suspect tums would work the same way.

If i was to have two tums an hour before rolling what would be the effect of it?
 
yea i want to know about tums/rolaid too.. i've been taking a few an hour or two before i roll.. can it weaken the pill?
