It does have a practical and non-recreational use...A baggie with residue attracts and kills ants. I have never read posts noting this feature, so I thought I should share. I am sure it works with other bugs as well. However, I read a novel recently, 'The Roaches Have no King', whose main character is a cockroach. and near the end of the book begins to enjoy the powder, so YMMV if you try to rid an infestation of these buggers.
 
Do you mean that the coca plants are naturally insect resistant, or do the growers take some finished product and dust the plants?
 
So if I snort ant poison I can get high??

Do you think that the various sugars used to cut cocaine may attract the ants, and then the coke kills them?
 
So thats why they put rat poison in pills!!!! (note for the slow, I know they don't put rat poison in pills)
 
I also heard of a plant in Central America that contains a chemical 500 x more potent than morphine, which acts as a herbicide and is very beneficial for the plant
