The amount of active amphetamine in a typical pill of adderall or dexedrine is very small relative to the size of the pill. Thus when you snort it only some is absorbed right away and the rest will release over time. This isn't a problem with low doses, but if you stuff a lot of pills up your nose it can cause you to be high for WAY longer than intended.

One weekend I stayed up for two days sniffing dexedrine with friends. I ended up being awake all the third day, going to work and not feeling tired at all, I thought that I wasn't metabolizing amphetamine well and was really worried at how long I'd been going with no fatigue. My experienced buddy told me to clear my nose out with water. This gave me an intense rush and the amphetamine high was right back. I didn't get asleep until four or five hours after that, and only by taking several shots, a couple of beers, 75mg of diphenhydramine, and a lot of pot, which caused me to black out and switch from one couch/bed of the house to another, then I stood up from an armchair while asleep feel backward and smacked my head on a table. Talk about a rude awakening.

So yeah, if you're going to snort amphetamine, extract or get some street tweak.

Haha. But yeah when sniffing alot of anything like that its always a good idea to wash out your nose gently once or twice during the sesh depending how long your going for and once again after your last line starts wearing off.

I find that when I snort any drug, a bunch of it can get stuck in your nose only to be absorbed later. The best thing to do is flush your nose out with water and blow your nose prior to snorting, and then to tilt your head back (sometimes better to lay down) for a couple minutes after snorting, to make sure it all is either in your sinus cavity or slides down the back of your throat to be ingested orally.

yeah, every time a dose any drug nasally, ill take my congestion nose spray and give each nostril a few sprays, clears it right up and seems to help get the drug into my system (although i have no real proof of that)

i think those sprays dry your nose, i wouldn't recommend this. i had bad complications after a couple of binges snorting several grams of m1 in a row. i now use a syringe with 1/2 saline 1/2 hot water and irrigate my nose before, during and after i take the drugs. it gives you an awesome rush everytime you do it, and you come down much faster and get to sleep faster--

back in the day, i remember hearing the slow release dexedrine were ok for snorting. some people found it difficult to crush all the little beads. but apparently, if they were careful, and skilled with a razor blade, once they were all crushed, it's wasn't too hard to separate the drug from the husks of the beads. leaving a small pile of mostly dextroamphetamine.

i think sniffinf pharmaceutical amphetamines is completely stupid. Orally the duration of the high is 6-12 hours and the high is so unique and emphatic based feeling. sniffing it gives you a coked out feeling high and a buzz for maybe an hour, and then u crash harder and run thru all ur pills

i've snorted 10 20mg adderall in one evening and got more high with each pill
