Hello everyone,

My name is Drs. CritCare. 28 y/o male, living in Western Europe. The reason I decided to register at bluelight is because I share the same interest for pharmacology and medicine as most of the members. This was also the main reason why I decided to become a Physician. I graduated from the University of Amsterdam med school in 2008. After that I've worked at a few different units focusing mainly on anesthesia and emergency room medicine. After 16 daunting months working at the ICU I finally got admitted to the anesthesiologist-specialism course. That is where I am today, working my ass off to become an anesthesiologist! If all goes well I hope to graduate as an certified anesthesiologist in 4 year.

Work and education take up most of my time in my life. But I do find time for one passion which is weightlifting/fitness. Before going to med school I have competed in Powerlifting under 18, and I work as a part-time (read: TINY part time) physician in weight training related sports. Im fairly knowledgable about fitness/bodybuilding, and if anyone would like some help he could give me a shout, if possible I'll lead you in the right direction.

As most of the members of this forum I'm a recreational / experimental drug user. I have been using drugs since the age of 16, and will probably continue to do so for quite some time. Do note however that I rarely consume drugs more then once every 1-2 months. In the past I have used more often, but it can just not be combined with my lifestyle anymore. Because of the long intervals between the times I use, I try to get the most out of every experience. Since graduating as a Physician I have been looking at my experiments with a more medical kind of view. Often monitoring my body and keeping journals while under the effect of a drug.

Before joining I have been reading this board for about 5-6 years. By registering I would like to open the way for me to participate in discussions, as well as being able to advice people from a medical standpoint. This board has been a great knowledge centre for me for the past years, so I encourage anyone to feel free to ask me any questions I might be able to help you with. The last thing I would like to put in this post is a piece of advice for everyone;

keep it safe. Please use rational thinking before consuming drugs, some of the stories I see here scare me.

P.s. My apologies for my relatively bad English grammar, It is my 3th language and I have not yet really reached the level a western physician should have in my opinion. But I'm working on it!

I dont know how many educated people are around here, But I think the subjects that are being discussed at these boards tend to attract quite some "educated" people dont you think? I think people who are educated are also more likely to want to participate in discussing and learning about their interests then people who are "not educated". I think I would be surprised by the amount of educated people around here. This is just a thought though.

Welcome to Bluelight! :) There are a ton of educated people on this board. I think you'll find this out soon enough. Some forums that might be of interest to you are Healthy Living and Education and Careers.

I'm glad you decided to join us here and look forward to reading more from you! :)

Thank you! I'll take a look at those forums. I'm amazed at how much subjects bluelight covers! I like the fact that the website is not entirely drug-orientated, and I think the website does causes a bit of harm-reduction. Although it (not always intentionally) promotes the use of drugs. I think of this website as a place to openly discuss health and drug related things that could otherwise not be discussed this easy. It's a great knowledge centre, thanks to its contributors, but calling it a harm-prevention website would be a bit farfetched.

Where are most (educated?) people from at bluelight btw? I think a majority of the members are living in the USA correct? I understand the need for a place like this for people who are living in a country that is in "war" with drugs.

I'll do my best to contribute to this place. Which should not be that hard considering almost all things I find interesting are being discussed here!

Ha :) it seem everyone around here is educated. The fact that people join this site shows their own potential :) I have learned a lot and it's nice to get other peoples views and the real facts.
