Obviously, I'm new here, so hello to everyone. I'm also new to opiates in general. Got some Lortab recently after a surgery and really liked the mellow feeling. I'm a pretty straight edge guy and I've got a good job, and I've heard the stories about guys like me who start taking pain killers and end up giving blowjobs in an a back alley somewhere to support their habit. So, I'm wondering, what's a good way to get that mellow feeling a couple nights a week after work with the smallest risk of addiction? I've tried smoking weed, but it's not what I'm looking for.

Heey I'm new here, too. I've been prowling these forums for a while actually, and just figured I should finally join up! I'm mainly interested in dope (H) if anyone cares.

Yo GP511- I dunno if anyone answered your question but here ya go: I don't imagine that eating a few pills like Lortab a couple nights a week is gonna make you start selling your body or anything. Its just hydrocodone. They certainly can be habit forming, but throw a little willpower into the mix and I think you'll be straight.

If you really concerned you could always try Kratom. Look it up! I'm not a big fan personally, but some peoples like it a lot.

Welcome to Bluelight :) Happy to meet you

With opiates it's hard to keep it "small". Though it can be done, and I was a big follower of that philosophy.. It just takes you by surprise when you think it's not a problem. Popping a Lortab everynow and then isn't a total problem. But know that Hydrocodone can be just as addicting as Oxycodone for some people or any other opiates for that matter.

Be careful and most of all, please be safe

Getting that "mellow" feeling several nights a week just isn't possible. That will lead you to quickly (you'd be surprised) build a tolerance. Then you would just need to take more pills to get that high, or worse, you'd move on to something stronger.

The best way to enjoy your pills while still keeping your tolerance low is to only use them occasionally.

I have managed to keep my hydrocodone use to 30mg's a day for a few months now. I have been on hydrocodone and morphine for almost 6 years now...it took me a long time to drop the morphine though.

If you're worried about addiction then the only answer is to cut down on your usage.

I use melatonin + L-theanine whenever I feel like getting high, it's really great for taking the edge off and it's all natural. If that doesn't do it for you, try ondanestron. It's been shown to reduce cravings (google if you want proof) I'd imagine you could try gabapentin as well as any other sleep aid.

It won't get you high, but it should take the edge off
