Hi friends,

I'm a young twenty-something in California. I was introduced (or at least introduced myself) to drugs, seeking different experiences and found a scene all to itself in the gay community. Here looking at the information and possibly have some questions of my own, but hopefully nothing a few quick searches can do. :D

What do you mean by "a scene all to itself in the gay community?" Please, don't feel obligated to answer me, I'm just confused by that statement.

Well, by that I mean the whole partying scene. Of course there are gay males that do not partake in such activities, but they know of it. I hookup a few times a week with different guys only if I'm high, and I seem to find that I'm only stimulated when I'm high now. I'm sure there is the similar for the heterosexual community too, but I'm saying I can look on a few of my "social apps" and point out which people party just by their handle. It's that open and sort of easy to find.
 
Hello, I am new as well, just perusing the threads. Why is it we always choose to do a thing before we know all the facts about it? Its good that you are wanting to dig deeper, I am sure you will find answers here.
 
Welcome to the forums! I always knew that meth was a huge thing in the gay community but I didn't know that other drugs had their place as well. I'm glad you've decided to join.
