Since I am nearly out of my opiate supply (unless I run into a drastic accident) for an incredibly long time, my drug of choice has changed to Gabapentin. There are many reasons for this. The first reason is, for me the are very easily and cheaply obtained. Secondly, the high for me is a good high. Yes it does take about two hours to take effect, but it's worth the wait. To me the high comes on as a very energetic feeling. Like I overloaded on caffeine, and also have adhd (except I find it a lot easier to concentrate on things). Everything from my actions, my words, the world around, to even my thoughts seem to be working three to four times normal speed. Once that speed feeling tappers down, you get a lose limned, weightless, hazy type of feeling. Kind of like being drunk, but not in the head and you have total control of yourself. Then comes the worst part, the comedown. No the comedown isn't bad but the sleepiness is. The comedown makes you very tired, and it's near impossible to stay awake. I enjoy this high very much. The final reason I began to use is because after a lot of research I found it makes opiate withdrawal easier. Boy is that one true. My anxiety is gone, my sick feelings gone. As soon as that two hour mark, post consumption hits I forget I ever had withdrawal. For me it seems to stay away 24 hours after the dose kicks in. Once it stayed away 36 hours.
Now that you know why this is now my DOC, here's a few facts I picked up. I do know it's near impossible to overdose on this drug. So if I wanted to I could take the entire bottle and be, health wise fine. I also picked up that it takes in the 1000's of mg to obtain said high. For me my usual dosage is between 3000-4500. This is perfect for me. One down side to Gabapentin is the tolerance of the drug sky rockets after one dose. Not only did I read this, but I tested it as well. I had taken 3,300mg one night, and had a good night. The next night I figured if I double the dose it'd work fine. Well after all was said and done I tripled the dose (10,000mg) and had no effect at all. Now you can wait two days (First dose Friday night, try again Sunday) and you will get an effect just not as strong. Wait an extra day, you'll get a stronger effect but not as strong as the first. I found it was to wait about a week, or two if you want to obtain the same strength high.
Now in the past few days I found how to get the same high on less of the drug. By staggering the dose. For example if I take 300mg every 30 minutes by the time that two hour mark hits, I should feel pretty close to if I took 3000mg all at once (off of 1,200mg). This is because only so much Gabapentin can be absorbed at a time. It's a sneaky way to take less for the same high. It just might take an hour or two longer. If you need more information on stagger I'll add a link to the thread at the end of this sentence. Staggering Thread
To my question now. As I said tolerances goes up fast, as well as it goes down fast. I have yet to try staggering since today is day three after my last Gabapentin use, and I just found this thread yesterday. I want to know if there is anyway to make your tolerance go down quicker? Does staggering make it go down quicker? For example if I were to get high Monday, by swallowing the whole dose at once how can I get high again (full high) Wednesday or Thursday? Will staggering do it?
