Stop resisting!
Good lord, maybe this really is becoming a trend?

Following the "Miami Zombie" attack, yet another Florida man got high, got naked and got cannablisitic in that order. Police up in Palmetto, Florida had to Taser 26-year-old Charles Baker after he stormed into his girlfriend's home and bit a chunk out of the bicep of a man who tried to subdue him.

Last night at about 10 p.m., Baker stormed into the home where his girlfriend and children live. He was high on "an unknown substance," and barged into the home and proceeded to strip his clothes off. He was cursing and screaming, and began throwing furniture around the home.

Jeffrey Blake, 48, another resident of the home, tried to restrain Baker. Baker struggled and then bit Blake, "taking a chunk of meat out of his left bicep," according to the arrest report.

Even with part of his arm now chewed off, Blake was able to restrain Baker on the ground until Manatee County Sheriff's Deputies arrived. Upon their arrival Blake released Baker, but he would not comply with the officers' demands. He clenched his fists and continued screaming.

That's when one of the officers took out his stun gun. Baker was Tasered once, but then got up again, so the deputy struck him with electricity again. He then tore the stun gun's probes out. So the other officer pulled out his stun gun and stunned Baker. He again got up. After his fourth shock, police were finally able to get him under control.

Baker was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital, and was charged with aggravated battery.

Playing Devils Advocate here, its animalistic instinct to "do whatever is necessary" to win a fight. Baker was probably in a blind rage (anger as well as substance use can hinder higher thinking, thus reducing the person to animal-like behavior) and did what we thought was necessary to "defend himself" against the guy trying to restrain him. All I'm saying is that bath salts (along with all other drugs) DO NOT turn people into flesh hungry beasts, instead they are in survival mode where they feel they need to do whatever they can (I would bite someone whom I presumed was attacking me) to ward of their perceived attacker. P.S.- I never attacked, let me rephrase, I never intentionally hurt someone while under the influence unless I perceived them to be threatening. I have bitten an attacker to get free while completely sober.

Come on man. The guy in Florida was eating another mans face. The cop likely was simply trying to save another mans life. I highly doubt he took the time to factor in color of skin. Leave the race card out of it.

Damnn 4 hits with a stun gun? What was he on?

Also, people are such followers. Geeze just cause one guy got high and ate someone doesn't mean other people have to do it too.

So theyll tase this guy, but kill the other?
$50 says Charles Baker wasnt black

A FLORIDA man was arrested today after stripping down, biting a chunk of flesh from another man's arm and resisting repeated attempts by police to subdue him with a stun gun.
Charles Baker, 26, went to his girlfriend's home to visit his children Wednesday night while under the influence of an unknown substance, WFTS-TV reported.

When Mr Baker arrived, he barged in and began yelling, taking off his clothes and throwing furniture.

Jeffrey Blake, who lives in the home, attempted to restrain Mr Baker, but Mr Baker fought back by biting a chunk of flesh from Mr Blake's arm.

Mr Blake managed to restrain Mr Baker until two police officers arrived on the scene, though Mr Baker refused to respond to the officers' orders.

One deputy deployed his electronic control device after giving a verbal warning.

But Mr Baker resisted the shock, prompting the deputies to use the device three more times before several other officers arrived on the scene and were able to subdue and handcuff him.

Mr Baker was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton for evaluation before being transported to the jail.

It was not immediately clear what substance Mr Baker had ingested, but Florida has played host to a recent spate of bizarre behaviour by people under the influence of synthetic drugs marketed as "bath salts."
