anonymous vs edl

Shimazu is one of those guys .

I know him from Hip Hop & he will probably admit that he doesn't give a fuk . On some things he's got knowledge but like may yanks just doesn't understand the U.K

Anonymous is so full of itself, they act like one well placed rat wont lead LE to the bigger wheels of cheese

bunch of script kiddies following a few actual hackers mostly

true. anonymous are a joke.

and look most of them end up in jail.

toys. spawned from 4chan when it turned rubbish.

i hate the EDL [ and BNP and to a lesser extent UKIP ]

however i though Anon were about freedom of expression online....to take down a site because you don't like thier politics seems hypocritical to me

re a previous post saying the EDL spokesman is a retard; i disagree i think he makes his point quite well, i just dont agree with it.
I also feel race hate can only breed violence on the street, nobody is getting sent 'home' and its not politicians who are gunna get beaten up, it'll be people walking home alone....black / asian / white whoever, the chances are it'll be some poor cunt whos outnumbered

In my view it's pretty clear that in some parts of each subsection of society, be it the European-settled Islam community or the 'native' (though that word means so little) Eruo/Anglo-Saxon community, there is a mutual distrust and disrespect that is breeding anger, suspicion and fear. I think the Brits that are spearheading groups like the EDL and the BNP are, amongst other things, fearful of change. An existing set of cultural values and routines is comforting and familiar, and we like to believe that we have set of principles that encourages equality and freedom of expression in this country.

There is that perceived 'threat' of a different set of values influencing the existing culture. In reality, I reckon that an increase in multiculturalism will do as it always has done, integrating in a way that, over time, encourages both the native culture and the immigrant culture to complement each other, taking the most positive parts of each, and teaching us acceptance and tolerance. But of course, I don't know, so I remain a little uncertain!
