Any of you have an experience with a psychedelic compound which doesn't match up to the rest of your experiences with that compound..?
Of course each trip is different, but have any of you had an experience which was radically different, which even with personal-grains of salt taken, and retrospective analytical deduction being used to the best of one's ability is still viewed as an 'abnormal effect' of the given compound?
This can only be answered by those with a certain amount of experience under their belt obviously. and i'd like this to be as 'objectively' approached as possible...well, a trips a trip you say, always subjective, always different...quite true, here's my experience...
I was eating mushroom regularly through high school, near weekly, probably 4-5 times a month. This was carried on for a series of months, and since then, i've had many many experience with mushrooms to further my understanding of 'how they effect me'. SOOOOO...one time i had an experience which didn't 'come down' anywhere near the regular 'scheduled come down time' which i'd come to understand. I had eaten an eighth of cubensis probably around midnight or 1am, and i had school the next day. But i was an experienced shroomer at this point and 'knew' that i would be able to get a few hours of rest (or at least be not tripping) after the exp and before my class at ~10am. Well, i don't remember when exactly i fell asleep, but i remember i was still experiencing intense visuals when i laid down. And the continuity of the visuals at this point of itself was an 'out of the norm' red flag.
But the real anomolous aspect of this experience was that whenever i woke up, i was still 'tripping Balls'. I went to my first class, Calculus, lol, go figure. I remember still experiencing intense visuals during class and a very 'alien consciousness'. When the teacher walked from one spot to another, while writing this fucking massive calc equation (for those of you unexperienced with calc, a fucking equation takes up a whole chalk board, or a couple of notebook pages, literally) i saw this little black 'pad' where he was in one spot, connected by a little parabolic 'arch line' to another little black pad...lol, a perceptual reference of his starting location and finishing location. the only other main thing i remember from first period calc was looking at the chalk board...it was the equivalant to heiroglyphics lol. My alien-mind couldn't reference any of the symbols as intelligable, and i spent the whole period just copying the equations into my notebook as if they were alien symbols that i had to draw from scratch...lol, picture having to tell your mind how to draw a series of numbers from scratch...i had to look back at the board for every number, i couldn't say to myself '3x-4ab/y-4' i had to look at this 'artistic series of lines' and then copy them one by one.i knew that they meant something, but i couldn't reference my ability to decipher symbols as meaningful. so i just copied it absent-mindedly (or rather very tediously lol).
after school i was still getting noticeable visuals, and i'm not talking an after-glow, i'm talking thing were still noticably squirming and glimmering to the point that i could not over-look it. and this was probably 18 hrs. post intake. i went to bed at some point still noticably tripping and a little unsure of what i'd gotten myself into, and the next day had an afterglow, but was definitely receding.
i probably did smoke herb the day following intake, which is obviously a factor. but my point stands, this was the only experience i had that just didn't match up to all of my other experiences, all of which at this point in my life were surrounded by stonedness.
also, this was the same species and same source of mushrooms from which all of my experiences of this time were rooted. it may very well have been from an ounce (its been 7 years or so since) of which i ate the others as well.
So though each experience is unique, and the subjectivity of one's mind can't be seen through...i still ask do any of you other 'trippers' have any experiences, which just don't add up??
