annoying sayings from drug users

"I'll never touch this shit again."
"This is my last one, the one before that doesn't count."

^ I've heard different versions of that one...

"You are a junkie and an addict because you need to use it everyday, I do whenever I wish."
"I can do all drugs but I'll never be an addict. Coke and weed will never get me addicted."

And really stupid ones like "how could I be addicted to these meds if the doctor prescribes them to me."

Yeah I always laughed at the people who'd look down on dirty heroin users when they "only" popped a few oxycodone tablets on a regular basis. LOL

Whenever I'd hear anything approaching that opinion from someone, I'd viciously troll them :) I was kind of an unusual heroin user because I never really went through a "pill phase", though...

Pills can be expensive when your tolerance is high, that's probably why heroin sometimes seems like the only financilly option for some. Unfortunately, the costs get even with time. I see is a lot of addicts turning to heroin because it'd be affordable.

Another very common thing to hear is that "former" addicts are now health and living a perfect life because they now use 'dones or subs. I actually get that. You start living a normal life, some can manage to save medication and don't go back to drugs nor alcohol. But that doesn't change who you are, it just changes your behavior and routine. And if you are serious about it you can even have a healthier life, although stuck with MMT.

there are so many widespread ridiculous myths about drugs. this article is pretty awesome:

Interesting read. At this point in my life I'm experienced enough to weed out the BS.

A couple things in the wiki caught my eye though.

Sun gazing on LSD
- a few friends and I acquired 100 hits of blotter acid.
Plenty experienced with LSD but had only had it dropped straight in my mouth(stupid) or onto candy in front of me.
-long story short took way too much and stuff got real.
-I had taken over my friends living room because I had a sword and was getting lost in the movement of the blade.
-anyways after doing this for who knows how long I realize my hand feels slimy and when I look do the handle, which was crafter like a crazy ass lizard, was now real and attaching itself to my hand. Luckily I was the only one tripping at this time and so everyone was already giving me space, because j chunked it and decided to go outside and try to get that out of my mind.
- it worked instantly. Spring time in Texas. About 10am. Not a cloud in the sky.
-I was fascinated by the sun and honestly did get lost in it. Obviously I didn't go blind, but I was startled back to reality by a friend. When I asked him how long I had been out here he said he was sure.
- so what I'm getting at, is that it's at least a possibility. Who knows how long I would have stood there staring at the sun if I hadn't been interrupted.

"Cheese"
So in the wiki it says how the first report of "cheese"( BTH mixed with Tylenol PM or just Benadryl.) were NOT actually verified and was quit possibly created as a hoax that became very real.

I hopped on the cheese train many years ago in 2007 and life has never been the same. Many dead or at the very least incarcerated for a period of time. Myself included. I got tired of putting copious amounts of powder up my nose and I knew it was doing my liver any favors and switched to the needle. I'm sure the media was behind the "heroin starter kit" pandemic, but I can't say I disagree.
Heroin is all over DFW. Nine years later I'm still battling it. I guess I should consider myself lucky. I found one of these links in the "cheese" expanded wiki and one from a simple search.

I know, well... Knew, people involved in both of these cases. I'm just lucky I didn't get wrapped up in selling it. I mean what addict doesn't at least consider it?

Interesting articles.
LSD makes people the say the weirdest things while one is 'tripping'.
I get that most of them makes total sense for those who are using, however, to those who don't have a clue, hearing to things like "I can now hear God" or "now I know how thing really work." "I was only living my life on from backstage" sounds pretty crazy.

I've had a coworker tell me that acid makes your brain bleed (yes, in 2016).

One of my roommates is an extremely annoying hippy wannabe whose brain is entirely fried from ecstasy use. Whenever anyone mentions anything about spirituality or drugs she goes into a very long rant about how "psychedelics were given to us by the universe to show us the truth" and "the universe has a plan for all of us, it told me". One of those people who thinks they've gained infinite knowledge from drugs, but in reality makes little to no sense when they try to explain themselves.

Someone probably said this , maybe not I'm not sure ..

When someone's addictied to pain killers , but thinks herion is so nasty.

I take norcos but I'll never do herion.

ugh.

^ There's a lot of people who claim not be addicts anymore, as they're on methadone maintenance. Some of them would call themselves ex or former junkies.

this thread I just found on shroomery, where a man who may be the worst liar on planet earth, and who moonlights as the planet's worst speller, tries to convince everyone he did a "thumbprint" of LSD back when he worked for a "family." he says "Originaly thumprints were given by taking the glass vile and puting your thumb over
the top of the vile and turning it and fliping it upside down real quick. This put a coating of crystal on your thumb which was pessed into the palm of the person ,leaving your crystal imbedded thumbrint in there palm(hence the term thumprint) where it would absorb(or they might lick it off.). This was your certification"
posts like this are why I'm on bluelight and NOT shroomery—and if you can believe it that isn't even the worst part. the worst part is that everyone in the thread believed him.

Unfortunately, lying is one of the worst side effects of addiction. I have seen so many alcoholics and drug users lose their reputation and quite often our dignity that often needs a life time to be "repaired", so to speak. Not to mention regrets, ambarrassments. It's a difficult, sad and lonely life after the honeymoon is over.

'alcohol is a crap drug' - elitist MDMA user/nerd

Fuck off. Alcohol is the best social drug in the world, it is the foundation of getting wasted. There's a time and a place for stuff like MDMA; if I want to go out and have a consistently damn fine time then beer and whiskey never fails. It is the original drug, how our forefathers got out of their heads thousands of years ago.

What do you think isn't true about that? I read that and it sounded pretty legit to me. But then again I have no idea how "families" work.

"I'm not myself without drugs". I friend of mine once said "what was the point in going to the beach and meet people if you can not get high" and it gets worse as some people ´would ' truly believe that's no point in living without drugs. "as long as you be careful and don't mess up"...

there's so much nonsense from the mouths of fried hippies re: LSD, it's unbelievable...one of my favorites was that the strength/quality of a given amount of LSD was dependent on the "spiritual energy" of the chemist who manufactured it 8)
