annoying sayings from drug users

"any air bubbles in your rig will kill you instantly." my boyfriend remains 100% convinced of this to this day despite me explaining to him very patiently at least 2 dozen times over the last few years why that is not true. when we used to shoot dope together sharing a rig back in the days before he had hep C and before I was the diehard junkie and he was the diehard tweaker I always HATED waiting to get well/high after him, because watching him neurotically spend 10min flicking the needle and losing bits of the shot is just tortuous. and do you know that fucker insisted on prepping my shots too for the longest time, we would fight about it, because he was so scared I wouldn't get the air bubbles out properly and would die? like man he just is so stupid sometimes. so many people think this too.

"yeah man I totally know just what you're going through w/ your heavy heroin addiction right now, because when I was a teenager I did a lot of X at raves and I know I definitely did some w/ heroin in them, I think I even went through the withdrawals once, it was bad." god I loved that friend but man did that sentiment piss me the fuck off.

"I'm a majestic and awesome tweaker and you're a dirty 'opiate slut'" yeah once my boyfriend switched from dope/pills to meth and made it his identity and lifestyle he began to really piss me off. whenever we're talking about drugs to this day he just has to at some point call me an "opiate slut," not even a junkie, because apparently "junkie" is too glamorous a term for opiate addicts and "opiates make girls into sluts." and I have never once in my life done anything remotely slutty, I am practically asexual. and uhm isn't that what meth does to men? like hello pot calling the kettle black. I have never once talked down to him based purely on his substance of choice ...though I have talked down to him for what it does to his sanity and personality. I would not even mind him being a tweaker all that much if he was someone who could even handle their shit like a normal human ...I have never seen anyone lose their mind on ice as badly as he does. ugh. so yeah in general people acting as if one substance is superior to any other just because it's "their substance." they all will ruin your life at the same rate IME.

Yes you can, you can do anything you want to do. Get a grip, find yourself and do something about it.
It's a hard life we all have but that's not excuse to not being able to do it.
That's why it's so annoying to me when I hear this.
 
I don't have anything specific but Bob Marley/sublime bill and Ted wanna be stoners annoy the hell out of me. It's like they hit the trees and become a caricature. Usually upper-middle class never thrown a punch or any type of bad ass shit. They rebel by doing bong hits and becoming a stooge.

One time me and my friend went to get smoked up by a group of these types. Dude pulls out a pipe and says "check out my pipe, it's shaped like a dick."

Sure enough the bowl part was shaped like nuts and the inhale part was a mushroom tip.

I said "I ain't hittin that" and they tried to put some weak as pressure on me "come on bro you're not being chill dude etc."

My friend starts calling them slurs for homosexual I join in and we both acted like we were bout to go in, the thing where you lean forward fast with your shoulder to make someone flinch, they flinched like simpering little bitches and we dipped.

This isn't half baked and I ain't sucking dick for some weed (or anything else.)
 
I had a teacher when I was 12 who would always counter student complaints with "life sucks then you die."

It's good to have adults who don't hold punches.

The most annoying drug user is the one talking rather than doing. I remember extracting DMT in a dorm room #yolo

Never heard of such comments. But the thread is more like what would be annoying to hear from a junkie.
 
also random but I'm reading through this and seeing that "Ms" is apparently a super common name for oxy 30s in many areas? how weird, I have never once heard an oxy referred to as an "M" ...around here an "M" is a morphine pill -- as in "M30s," "M100s" etc. why are they called Ms? where does that come from? I thought they had an A (and numbers) printed on them? I have barely ever done oxy though as it doesn't do shit for me w/ my tolerance so I may be mistaken about the print. can someone tell me where the "M" name comes from? around here the most common name for them is "blues." oh and "beans" are usually ecstasy, I've never heard oxy referred to as "beans" either. hm.

Idk MS contin is morphine that's the only "ms" painkiller I know of.

I would never lend money to someone who had a stated desire to quit drugs. Holy crap, what a bad idea...if they weren't serious about it, you'd help them feed a vicious cycle that they knew was taking them down but were unable to stop, and if they were serious about it you' never see your money again, because they would make good on disconnecting from the drug scene and that'd involve them not associating with someone who fronted them drugs or money for drugs...
