I forgot to tell you all, but shortly after writing this, I came across an ad for a poetry contest. Needless to say, I entered this poem in, just curious to see how far I'd go with it.
As it turns out, I got a letter today. Angels' Dance has been chosen to be published in an anthology of poems titled Nature's Echoes (released by the International Library of Poetry) and is one of the few selected amongst many entries that is still eligible for the grand prize of a thousand bucks. Who'd have thunk it?
I 'm glowing right now.
I don't care if I win the cash or not. I'm basking in the glow of being published, as now my name will be recorded for future history and the world will have a little piece of Rob Romero.
