Just a child Testing her wings out in the world
One part woman, One part girl.
The face of an angel and a mind beyond her years
All she wants in this life is to find another angel that wont bring her eyes to tears.
Two hours away lives a boy quite like she
Who has a heart of gold, and a soul that is the key.
One day the girl walks around the room and the boy spots her near by
Little does he know that the girl has a single tear falling from her eye.
She was brought to tears from the lyrics of a painful song
Looks up and sees the one she's been waiting for all along.
Two months go by and she holds it in her heart,
Still healing inside is her soul that by some asshole was totally ripped apart.
One night she pulls up the strength to tell him how she feels,
Rapidly she's shaking because these emotions are too real.
She told him it all, and how her feelings where true
He quickly responds "I was about to say the exact same thing to you"
In her room she falls to the floor,
and just can't believe she's wanted by the one she adores.
Nearly two weeks later she goes to his town
and looks up at the angel she has found
They sit far apart in the back of the car
Too shy to tell - But their thoughts where known by all.
Later that night they take a walk under the stars,
All alone in the cold and away from all
She gives him a hug
They look into each others eyes
He kisses her small lips and she nearly cries.
They hold each other close as they walk along the path
Little do they know that they found it at last.
They go back to the place where that night she was to stay,
So many words, But too shy to say.
He kisses her on her forehead, They cuddle up tight
Fell asleep in each others arms that night.
They woke up, She could only say "I wish I could be with you just one more day"
Only hours until she had to go home, Then they would once again be alone.
They go outside and begin to talk
She reaches up, Hugs him, Then she just stops.
"Will we ever be official" she asked with a sigh.
He asked her if she wanted them to be, She just couldn't lie.
She said yes, He said "then it is"
She then put her hand right into his.
This is my story, all of it true.
Feels like a fairy tale that will never be threw.
Now I'm living a state of ecstasy that feels to good to be true,
When I looked into those angel eyes I lost my world to you.

Okay I never rhyme in poems, and I know this isn't my best work, But it has alot of meaning to me and came directly from my heart. thats all that really matters?
