Does anyone have any info/tips/experience on how to dissolve the new oxycontin OP's into a solution for oral consumption that will keep for about 5 days?
I have used coca-cola and Emergen-C as solvents in the past, but would like to keep this Oxy solution fot about 5 days, and I fear that a solution of coca-cola or Emergen-C will spoil if kept unrefridgerated for that long. (And a fridge is out of the question)
I plan to dissolve about 40 oxycontin OP's at once (the 40mg pills) so I do not need to constantly prepare the pills every time I need a dose. I can make 4 batches of 10 pills each, whatever, but will use a total of 40 pills. I've seen mold grow on the surface of coke that was left out after only a few days and cannot afford for that to happen. With the sugar and other ingredients in Emergen-C I'm afraid the same will happen.
I was thinking about microwaving the crushed up OP's in small batches (to control the heat better) so that they dissolve easier. Then using hot but not boiling water and adding powdered citric acid to it. I figure that the pills will dissolve easier b/c of the microwave, and the citric
acid solution will make a good solvent.
QUESTIONS:
Will citric acid + water be more or less likely to spoil than soda/emergen-C?
How much citric acid should I mix for every 50ml of water so that it will dissolve the pills effectively but so that I can still drink the mixture?
