memories back in time
all the things you knew
all the things your used to
changed

sitting here looking through time
not knowing exactly what to look for
but only knowing that i dont know where im going
only guided by a string so thin im scared it could break

so i let go of it all
i shed my old skin and only know the end of my journey
still not knowing what the way will be
only knowing knowing i must step through this one way door
and let it close behind me with no intention of looking back

cherish my memories
know them
let them guide me
know that its only one of many doors
theyve come before
they will come again

i take them one at a time
with peace of mind that its been done before by one and all.

its so true... you cant dwell in the past, no matter what happens, good bad or ugly, you have to accept descisions you've made and just look for the next door to travel through.
