It's Friday night, and it's slightly warm outside with a light breeze. You are standing outside an ordinary warehouse and it's 11pm. You hear the faint pounding of a bass machine inside, which accompanies the DJ, which is currently spinning. You are filled with anticipation, as you are about to enter your first and initial rave. When you walk in the door, immediately you notice the brightly colorful array of lights illuminating the darkness that surrounds you. The faint smell of sweat, cigarettes, and even candy fills the room.
As you and your friends wander around inside, you notice the DJ and the stage up front, which is where you're headed. You stand before one of the 120-Watt speakers, which vibrate with the tranquil sounds of trance. You finally close your eyes, observing this event with all your senses. The smell becomes more vibrant and fragrant, the smell of energy. The music from the speakers caresses your skin like blades of grass. You can physically feel this music. You open your eyes again, and smile at the people around you who are able to experience all that you've just experienced in 5 minutes.
