An example of how good E,'s were in 2000

Yup, i remember how very awesome E was in the years 98-2003. B e a u t i f u l times. B e a u t i f u l memories. Will it ever come back? Will it ever be the same?

wow that was amazing. i went to jujubeats last year and it was the shit, i had no idea it had some history though.

they're not having it this year unfortunately...

It's partly nostalgia, but there was a innocence even back then that isn't around now. For me, 97 - 00 were the best parties I've been to. It started taking a huge turn downhill for me around 2004, though. I'm sure a lot of the kids getting into the scene now will think the same thing about 2010 =) I would like to point out that the one psy party I went to had that "classic" vibe to it. I'd love to see more of that =D

I came across this video for those that partied in LA during 2000. I'm sure there are many here on the forums that remember this one.

I thought it was a video that showed a nice contrast to how out of control EDC was this year.

Pretty cool party, although it didn't look too different from the one massive that I attended in the LA area last summer.

Regarding the "Will it ever be as good again?" question, I'll give you this answer: "It is as good as it was 'back in the day' if not better, you just have to find it!." =D

For instance, this one guy I know spent about 4 months in Iran. He was surprised to discover a small, but extremely chill EDM scene there. It was really small and everyone knew each other, they where really friendly and gladly shared their stash of MDMA and LSD with him. :) They had sick psytrance playing, no commercial "worship the DJ" crap. In general, he said that the younger generation doesn't really care about Ahmadinejad's anti-Americanism. They were also really hospitable and most of the time he spent staying at friend's places and he only had to get hotels for short periods during his initial arrival and while travelling to new places.

And I am sure there are loads of places with similar scenes and lots of laid back people who not only want get fucked up, but also enjoy the mindset of MDMA and the community feeling of the scene.

looks like fun,
but it is in L.A.
by what i read in the forums pills over there are still good & available
but im in scotland where it seems everyone just takes the cheapest pills they can get to make as much money as poss,
they don't buy for quality,(which i would be willing to pay more for)
even in england (going by the pill reports) they even get decent pills
Maybe i should move town/ country, lol

I could post a vid of like 40 peeps pokeballed out in a backyard cuddle puddled talking about loving each other massaging getting lightshows the real deal is that how good e's r in 2010? I gotta admid the rave scenes fucked but in 2010 the pokeballs got e in socal as good as its ever been right now.

for real so cal has some pokeballs going around right now that are OH. MY. GODDDDD.

I wanted to mimic a post that i saw about parties and E from back in 1992. I guess the point is to appreciate the vibe, parties and people in the video. The drugs are just as good as they were if not better. So sure we have bomb pills but can we party like we did back in 2000?

At first I was like..."yep...looks like every rave i have ever been too:/"

but then I saw the comments on here about the scene now. I'm starting to think that I should never go to another rave again :( I have really been thinking about going to one but it sounds like the teey boppers gone and ruined a good thing.

So you really think that the 60-80mg pills you are getting today match the 100-120mg + pills we were getting back in the day? not to mention that adulterated pills were the exception and not the rule.............Hmmmmmmmmmm....what have things come too :(

I'm getting 100-120mg in pressed pills these days. As far as I can tell, some of these chicago mints are as good as the white buddhas of 2000.

Living in two different major cities during the past decade, I have not noticed much of a decline in quality.

Though, i never been to a rave or anything but the party scene in miami and ft. lauderdale fl (nightclubs/dance scene) was pretty much the same atmosphere. There was lots of love, respect, and yes; there, was an innocence to it.... *sighs*
