I know many of you are going to think this belongs in the psychadelics section, but check out my story and see who can get to the bottom of this for me. I did a little science experiment on the bodily chemistry of... me.

I found a bottle of my moms compazine and it got me kind of high the first night i took it. The second day I took two,a nd when i was with my friend we decided to get mushrooms. I bought them, went out to the headlands (near the golden gate bridge) and started chilling and tripping. about 15 minutes into it i felt the jaw muscles start to pull up, and it felt like i was stuck permanently in a smile. Then they started to spasm, grinding my teeth roughly against each other and slowly opening and closing like crack jaw.
I proceeded to lose my ability to use my voice box, and was shaking. I couldn't get a sentence out and was extremely paranoid as a side effect of the mushrooms. My vision was also blurry. I smoked lots of marijuana, and for 8 hours s uffered through cycles of jaw spasms, chewing on my leather wallet. when i took a step into my house, it went away. it was so strange.

I've been trying to get to the bottom of this - i know it was a reaction of the two drugs, but what about compazine, and what chemistry in the mushrooms caused my side effect, which is conveniently titled "psuedo parkinsonism"? Does compazine effect dopamine (which effects muscle movement)? I know some of you science junkies can help me!

Compazine is, I believe, related to thorazine, an antipsychotic, which can cause extrapyamidal symptoms, like those you described.

It is a dopamine antagonist, a nasty drug, and unless you are psychotic, has absolutely zero recreational potential.

Give your mother back her pills, you dick, if she is scripted those, she needs them.

Don't be a dick.
