Amy Winehouse Spokesman Says Toxicology Tests Show No Illegal Drugs in Her Body

So it could not be ruled alcohol poisoning when she died, but now it can? As usual when it comes to media and medical situations, something is fishy. So I really don't pick and choose which media articles I believe, I think all of it is suspect and believe very little of what I read. Sensationalism gets old.

Is it me (I could be wrong) or could blood alcohol level have been known long before this finding? Granted she could not have taken a breathalyzer but it seems to me the level in the blood could have been known long before the books needed to be shut.

Someone in one of these threads said it perfectly. Sometimes people just die. That I believe. But when I read these articles today I feel like a sucker if I buy into it.

RIP Amy Winehouse.

was more than five times over the legal drunk-driving limit when she died.

That's over 0.40%. That is olympically drunk. The average person would need to chug more than a bottle of rum to get a BAL that high. Chug.

Plus the Librium...

Hopefully this will highlight to the general public how hazardous heavy Alcohol use/abuse can be (being very hopeful there realistically). The death of such a high-profile celebrity tends to have a fair bit of impact with regard to a populace which would otherwise show little/no interest in such things.

She doesnt count as part of the 27 club now. Pussies who dont die of drug overdoses get kicked out.

Disagree - Alcohol is definitely a drug.
