AMT HCL ??? Differences in dosages ?

Okay, since more than a decade I have done aMT freebase, with all the advantages it has, even if it smells like rotten eggs, it can be smoked etc.

Right now some AMT HCL is on my way, normally 60-65mg of AMT freebase is a good dose for me, how much should I expect it to work with HCL, I already don't like that i'm losing product because it's not freebase, I hope it is not too much.

aMT ~ 174.24 g/mol
aMT·HCl ~ 210.70 g/mol

That means the aMT·HCl is 0.82 times as potent as the freebase and will require 1.21 times the dose of the freebase for the same effects. If you typically take 60-65 mg of aMT freebase then you should take 72-78 mg of aMT·HCl.

Well the HCL is said to be around 20% less potent than the freebase so maybe a 75mg dose would be close to your freebase dose but I'm not sure how much of it will be degraded when smoking the HCL. However I know it can be done, just be careful with your smoking technique I guess. I remember reading about a way to convert the HCL to the freebase as well as converting the base into a salt in the 2nd B&D aMT thread but I can't seem to locate it, sorry .

Oh I will definitely be eating the HCL, smoking HCL's is not very smart normally. Oh well, I wish it was still freebase but I'm not gonna complain, last times I procured some between 4 and 12 years ago it was way more expensive!

Totally misread your post lol, I thought you were asking us to account for how much would be lost in the process of vaping the HCL and give an estimated equal dose to to that of your vaped freebase dose. Your right, smoking HCL isn't very smart but I've heard of it being done succesfully so I wasn't gonna stop you.

Smoking hcl is generally more harsh (especially with DPT) but doesn't mean it cannot be done
You usually have to be much more careful with heating to avoid thermolysis
