Using pot to help come off a trip is something that comes with practice...
For example if your trip has mostly died down, and you smoke pot to sleep, you may find yourself tripping once again and unable to sleep for a few more hours.
For that reason I usually use pot to "prolong the peak" of most psychedelics. But of course I'll probably end up smoking again later on before I hit the sack. As long as you have already smoked once or twice before your want to go to bed, you should have enough cannabidiol built up (hopefully at least enough to couter-act the psychedelic and THC) to let you sleep. This is because the CBD stone lasts longer than the THC high.
